Well, imagine diving?

The Bobbit, by Menacing Spike:

"Bobbits, the narrator explains, are large worms, up to twice the size of humans, with poisonous barbs, sharp teeth, and a love of good food, mud, and gruesome murder. Though some bobbits live in tanks, they traditionally live in holes in the ground. The holes are dank and smelly."

I also found this amusing quote from a guy that had one in his fish tank.

Well "the ***** is back". This time I saw him moving from the top of the tank to the cap. He is 24 inches long. Lucky me he is still small. I had him with my clamp but he got away. After I let him settle down, I made a nice shimp cocktail just to tell him I was sorry. I added 1/2 of a large dog intercept pill this time. I had to hollow out the shrimp and then crazy glue it back together. Added a piece of glass with the glue. He swallowed the entire thing!

Man am I nuts or what? 3:00 in the morning and I am toiling over a little shrimp with an exacto knife and glue and broken glass. If this does not work I don't know what to try next.

a week later:

$#!^ he is still alive!

I would attempt a scorched earth policy if I had to deal with one of those. Just transfer the fish out to another tank and bleach the crap out of the water.

I just had a crazy thought today. There were only 66 years between the first airplane and landing on the moon. If someone was 10 when the Wright brothers made their flight, they would have been 76 when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon!

I wonder how far technology will advance in my lifetime...

I often wonder what it was like for those who lived through both the civil war and industrialization & the widespread use of electricity; that's a more significant technological shift IMO. One person in particular I wish I knew more about is this guy, he witnessed Lincoln's assassination and then lived to the age of television.

I was listening to the radio (regular old FM radio) and the crappy Disturbed song Stupify came on, and there's like 50 "fucks" in that song that they don't censor! Whaaa? Anyone can tell that's what he's screaming, it's not hard to understand or anything (although I'd guess that "hard to understand" is the reason for not censoring it). Radio censorship is apparently completely arbitrary.

I think about that a lot; my grandfather for example, uses an iPhone, poorly, but he uses it, and homeboy grew up without access to electricity.

Yeah.. I'm not going to comment on the appropriateness of an American show based on an American comic created by a black man about black kids using words in the Urban American vernacular.

But if the station plays Ben Folds Five and ever plays Rockin' The Suburbs, it's fascinating when choose to start bleeping the word Fuck, and how long they let it ride.

Generally Cartoon Network or rather Adult Swim which is on the channel in the middle of the night.

There is a Taco Bell commercial that goes, "It's the last thing any parent would ever say, but deep down everyone has their favorite," as they show two kids sitting in a car, and then it switches to their Dorito Loco taco. That's besides the point, though. Immediately, I think, "Oh yeah, that'd be me." It was at that moment that I realized even my subconscious is ridiculously sarcastic. Sarcastic to me. I think it's gone too far.

Relevant commercial.

Detected no sarcasm. Was it about being a squirmy child? Does it relate to the taco's poor execution? (Supposedly. Never tried it.)
