RT: Damn you rotating Earth. I was really excited; I had finally managed to catch Jupiter early enough so that it's not hidden entirely behind that tree two gardens over. I have a minor nerdgasm and think "Yay! I'll get the laptop and webcam to take a picture to see if it can resolve the moons better than my eye can!" then when I get back with the camera and the laptop... Jupiter's moved behind the tree again. I don't blame Jupiter, I blame Earth. And also whatever dipstick planted that tree. If it weren't for that I'd've already had pictures by now.

You mean the acceleration due to gravity? I didn't think it was quite so low on Europa.

Firstly, you were right the first time, and secondly you have clearly never seen Out Of Sight, which is the second best Clooney movie.

Why do the soldiers that stand around in town and try to persuade people to join the army always wear forest camoflauge? I always want to go up to them and point out that if they don't have the sense to wear urban camoflauge in an urban environment then they're not doing it right.
Please note that despite the lovely avatar Sungura gave me, I am not a medical doctor.

You should just walk up to them and have a conversation like this:

*You walk up to them, looking slightly lost and confused*
Army Dude: Hello, are you interested in serving your country?
You: YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!
*You walk away, looking as dazed and lost as you did when you walked up to them*

FT: I'm probably going to start a new thread today. It's a surprise.

RT: A week or two ago, I lost my memory stick. I know someone in my school has picked it up because I lost it when I accidentally left it in a computer in the library. I just wonder what they'll think of it; it has the entirety of my fiction writing on it (don't worry, the master copies are all on my HDD). If they were curious they might be reading through the articles I wrote about the Animus Machina, an artificial life form. Or they might be reading the random fragments of background info on one of the sci-fi trilogy. Or they might be reading through the sporadic poetry that is scattered around in places. It would be interesting to find out what they thought of me just from that little snapshot of my hobby and passion. But alas, I guess I'll never know.

Heh, heh.

And you edited that RT into your post, because it wasn't there when I clicked the quote button. Hopefully you'll find your memory stick... or at least the person who picked it up, so you can find out if they read it. Sadly, I expect many people would just read the first bit then wipe the thing... :/

@TaintedDeity: I like lemon and lime marmalade, although no specific brands come to mind. But I have had it in the past.

@ParanoidAndroid: This morning was like that, then at about 12:45pm, it rained. Abnormally heavily. It was on and off in five-minute bursts all afternoon. Now it's dark, and quiet, so I assume the rain's stopped.

A mobile phone just about to ring makes a DEEPLY ANNOYING random buzzing noise when it's next to a speaker. (Ok, the speaker makes the noise, whatever)

Cold virii eat your brain from the inside out. Or at least it feels like that now. (Google Chrome doesn't know virii, but it does know viruses. Silly, silly browser. Or the word "Google" itself.)
