So, I'm slightly confused. I know "cellar door" from Darko, but what does Tolkien have to do with that? Did he start the "cellar door" business?

I think from now on if I see/hear someone making a grossly incorrect claim, instead of just ignoring it and moving on, I'm going to try and correct them and maybe help educate the human race a little bit. For example, all the people who say "GLOBAL WARMING? THEN EXSPLAIN THE SNOW THAT THE SOUTH HAS GOTTEN!!!1" instead of just ignoring them forever, I'll explain why they're an idiot.

This will probably only work for a week max, before I quit out of sheer frustration.

How I first read that. I was wondering why it had an alarm, how big it was, and how many times it had been on fire.

It's difficult to explain poor exam results to parents, especially when your only reason for failing is "I spent time I should have spent studying on the internet and playing videogames."

Also, how is it that something that I was interested in previously (i.e. nuclear physics) is actually fairly dull in lectures?

I think I might have confused an interest in nuclear physics for an aptitude for nuclear physics.

Nuclear physics is heaps heaps fun, one of the most fun areas of physics... except for that Nuclear Protection course I did... that sucked.

We're learning just the basics at the mo, blackbody radiation and electrical fields and such. And oh my word I find it dull, but I feel that it's just me; I'm hoping it, or I, improve(s).

So, if you take away C and increase A and B equally to make up the slack... and shrink D a little.. again, equally increasing A and B....

That's me.

Huh.
