Umm it may be to late to explain but:

I had recently purchased headphones that I had shipped to the dorm. Unfortunately, FedEx doesn't go through the university system which would allow them to deliver it to my mailbox, so I would either A. have to be there to sign for it or B. have someone at the front desk or hell any random person sign it.

I looked at the tracking earlier and it said "Delivered" and I hadn't gotten said package. At this point I freaking panicked, thinking the package was in someone's room or just plain gone, so I sprinted downstairs to see if they were still there. Thankfully they were still in the office, but they were locked inside just behind a window, so I could literally see them but not use my new headphones. I had to wait a couple hours to finally get to use them after waiting FOREVER. I originally broke a pair of headphones, and Skullcandy gives 50% if you send in the broken pair, so I waited weeks and weeks for that to go through, then another week was spent watching the FedEx tracking thingy.

But now I get to use them, and they're awesome.

Edit: Seriously every time I start using them a big stupid goofy grin pops onto my face cause they're so much better than my last ones.

Aw. Way to not be a dick -- though I was wondering if your post wasn't more appropriate for the 'fess thread after all.

i fucked up.

in one of the biggest ways possible.

fuck you, subconscious. why do I ignore you so often?
why do you know what's best for me?
why can't I be a coherent whole?

and why do i hide what i'm truly feeling, even from myself?

how in the hell can I confuse something powerful with something so superficial?

i wish the meanings hadn't blurred.

I feel it needs to be said. I'm sorry.

[But I want something far different
from you, Reclaimer.

Atonement.]

Truth be told, I wasn't expecting anything when I said what I said. I meant every word, but I wouldn't have blamed you if you didn't care or hated me for what I'd said.

I have to wonder what the hell you see in me.

Maybe you pressed the Subscribe button by mistake? There's a thingy for turning those off in your profile.

I don't actually know if subscribing does that, though.

My situation exactly. I can't get off even though it's super late and I have so much unfinished homework and there's not even much response to my posts anyway. It's gotten really bad.

It's late and I've been kinda drinking for a lot of the evening, and I can't figure out why I'm not tired.

I just had a shot of espresso, a coke, and a glass of iced tea, and the walls are bouncing off of me. I think I'm going to go to sleep, next century. Time to go lecture time; it really needs to pick up the pace.*
Which is weird, because coffee usually doesn't effect me.

When I was in Japan, I bought a Lionheart keychain from the Square-Enix store at the Tokyo Game Show:
Image
A while ago it fell off my keyring and I notice one of the links widened a bit. So I let it sit in my backpack until today I finally fixed it with some solder. However, I noticed the top-right three mane "dreadlocks" had broken tips. It doesn't look that bad but I wish they were in better condition.

Because it's here whenever someone has a thought that doesn't fit into another thread and doesn't merit a new thread.

Bleh, my Windows 7 RC is starting to nag me to install the real thing. I do have a retail copy, but it's annoying to have to do it.

Wouldn't the retail version be just as much of a nag?

Well, when March comes around, the RC will switch itself off every 2 hours, and come June, it won't work at all.

*awaits the mac user's smug comments of "oh I thought that was normal for Windows?"*

Edit: screw it, I'll reinstall now. See y'all later.

Everything is something that you don't know how to build until you know how to build it -- or something.

I suddenly have so many things I need to do! I feel like the guy who's just noticed the shadow sweeping across the ground and is turning around to face the tidal wave of splintered wood and dirt.

I've got some running to do.

I was going to photoshop a green chilli on to a clock, and attempt to show what time I ate at. Then I realised I am really not in the mood for any in-depth work, so I shall just tell you when I eventually nommed; 1845.

Your idea should be truth, it should never be too early for chilli. Then again, I am trying to keep to a stricter meal timetable nowadays. The operative word here being "trying".

Actually, the Earth's angular momentum is slowly decreasing due to tidal interaction with the Moon, which increases the length of the day. Or were you being poetic?

I'm a moron. I only backed up my "documents" when reinstalling my OS and completely forgot about my music and my funny pictures collection. Most of my decent music is on my mp3 player, fortunately. But I'll have rebuild my funny pictures collection from scratch. Damn.
