Aww, is it over already? I thought it normally endured longer than this.

Oh well, better too short than too long, I guess.

I'm not sure if anyone (probably me) has done this before, but...

y'all want a final score?

Keep in mind that if a word has tenses, generally speaking the base and tense were filtered (if run and running both became "moving quickly", that counts as two) and this also includes filters that existed and were deleted (like the various Ooks), but...

Final count - 427 filters.

Cool, thanks for the info! We found a bit under 300 this year, also including Ooks. Do preexisting filters like twerk count toward the total?

No. The original 39 were not included.

I'm wondering if this is one of those pre-existing filters or if SDK is just pulling my leg.

I'll tell you about them next year.

Though I'd forgotten about it until now, apparently in 2010 we had

irregardless => I own two copies of Kazaam: one on DVD, one on Blu-Ray

I don't recall if that one was noticed.

There should really be a 3D Kazaam. I mean, if you're going to watch Kazaam anyway...

I don't recall the entire Federation and other, non-aligned worlds being uncovered. I may be mistaken...especially as I'd accidentally misspelled Canada and hadn't noticed.

Outside of that, I'd need to consult the records.

Though I don't recall anyone looking at what all the European Nations filtered to and bothering to see if European or European Union did anything. Which I found interesting.

You missed any Caricom island/country that wasn't helpfully one word, I believe. I'd filtered all of them to their descriptive names or whatever you call them (eg Nevis-Queen of the Caribees, St Kitts - mother colony of the west indies).

Oh man, looking at the Time Wiki for the 2014 madness

It's typical that mods add words to the filters for a reason: they're popular words, or are special to some discussion.

Lemme correct that

It's typical that mods add words to the filters for a reason: the mod finds it hilarious at the time.

Really? I always thought it was more along the lines of,

Some of us don't actually get inebriated.

We must be bribed with other things.

Mods can find things hilarious while inebriated, but it's not a requirement

Wasn't there a wildcard to space filter at one point? That's one I wish I could have seen.
