If you can't see

I mean, they have a vast, almost uninhabited country- most people live only on a fertile strip of land- with equally vast natural ressources, a large indigenous population with their own culture and history, a reputation for liberalism in spite of currently being ruled by a conservative government, it was formed as a dominion of the British Crown...

So... does that mean they have a freedom-obsessed vaguely omnicidal nation to the North?

Is Papua New Guinea way more awesome than I knew?

You have been grievously misinformed about Australia, and I'd like to apologise for that.

Papua New Guinea does have the most distinct languages per capita of any country (it might even have more languages absolute, I'm not quite sure how it compares to Brazil there). So that's pretty cool.
