High: Started part time job at nearby convenience store, so have some income until I go to university.

Low: The store is a huge seller of alcohol and cigarettes, and the area is filled with kids trying to get around the age restrictions. I am now convinced I will screw up even by following the rules.

High: Tom Merritt might be coming to London in April and having a meet up.

High: Got to wake up at noon.
Low: As a result, couldn't fall asleep until now, 2:50 AM. And I have to get up tomorrow (or rather, later today) at a reasonable hour.

Well, Saturday has passed and it is Sunday, so I can't technically do a high and low point of the day, so I will do the high and low of my week since the end of the week just passed.

High Points: Got a girlfriend; 6-day weekend--snow days; new iPod; having more than one really significant high point in one week

Low Points: Haven't gotten to spend as much time with my new girlfriend as I would have liked to; weekend was sort of wasted on meaningnessless

Low: Being woken by alarm clock at 7:30.

Low: Being woken by alarm clock at 7:45, and realizing that this time I would actually have to get up.

High (so far): Realizing that, thanks to Daylight Savings Time, I can now read the new XKCD at 1 pm (my time zone) instead of 2 pm.

High (expected): Receiving my shiny new laptop computer!

For yesterday:
High: Will probably move with that good friend of mine, yey!
High: Ate lunch yesterday with my dad, was nice.
High: Swimming pool was good.
Low: Spent roughly 80$ on my car and it didn't fix the problem.
Low: Drove 130 kms to the reserve base only to find out as soon as I got there that everything was canceled, then drove another 130 kms back.
Today:
High: People really like my avatar, it seems.
Low: I have to be at work instead of having most of the day off.

Edit: Also WTF? I had to go to page 3 to find this thread!

High: Sitting in a circle with friends, new and old, throwing a dolphin around while listening to a concert.
Low: Consequences of concert: hearing loss in right ear and determining a function had a minimum of -2/3 and max of 0 (concerts aren't the best study areas).
Lower: Possibly have come down with the bug my brother's had for the last week.

High: I didn't have to give my talk today! We ran out of time so mine (and about half of the tutorial's) talks are next week. Which is good. I still sound nasal from my cold.

Low: I stayed up all night perfecting that bloody thing. I could have got some sleep last night! Oh well.

High: Going thrift store shopping with people.
Low: Realizing this was the second to last time I'd see one of my friends for probably at least 3 months.
High: Getting dinner with a friend of mine (different from earlier) that I haven't seen in about 3 months.
Low: Driving back and having the atmosphere of the car make me reminisce about/be sad (or even emo) about my last relationship. It was angst-muffin-tastic.
There's a method to my madness. Somewhere. Don't worry, I'll find it!

High point: The other employees at work convinced the boss that my brother cut off his finger on the slicer.
Low point: I actually cut my finger on the slicer, and found out I have pretty thin blood.
High point: Going home early.
Edit* Low point: I just had two major panic-attacks less than 15 minutes apart. One involved me almost passing out.

I generally pack the afternoon before leaving, the day before I might do a rough draft at best.

I always fill my bags to exactly overfull but still closable, and have to carry stuff I am unlikely to use. Like just back from camp, there was a woollen jumper some thermals and a game of Cluedo I took that weren't used.

High: Band Camp! Though even as a flautist, nothing icky happened
Low: Cold weather.
Low: Cold has developed into fully runny nose.
Low: Not being able to go to rehearsal because of driving time and cold.

This is going to make the complaints about him so much more effective.

I get this where I'm working at the moment. Its a really top heavy IT department, more management than anything else. Seriously, the "Head of IT Security and Compliance" got malware all through his work laptop and didn't know how to get rid of it.

After I re-imaged it I got interrogated on "Why did this breach of security occur?" and "How can we ensure this doesn't happen in future?" FROM THE SAME HEAD OF FUCKING IT SECURITY!!! Not to mention the lack of recognition or even thanks for sorting out his screwups

High point: I found the CD of my piano recital!! I finally have proof that I am (er, was at one point) an awesome pianist.
Low point: Foot surgery tomorrow is making me nervous. Also, all the listening to me play piano makes me sad that I don't have one :(
