High: Got another day at work, so I can afford a car now.

Low: Staying up until 5 and now I'm tired as hell.

For yesterday:

Low: Cleaning, so much cleaning. (Parents are visiting today, and will probably see my dorm room.)
High: Dungeons and Dragons! And when I left at like 2:20 in the morning last night, our party leader had *finally* finished the tournament he was in. (The first round alone probably took 10-14 hours real-time, as our DM was running everything in real time. After that, we shortcutted.) This means our party can finally get out of the city. Thank god.

High: Discovering a cooler full of expired beer cans that had to be drained in the most awesome ways possible.

Low: Spray of old beer in the face.

@Torvaun - does Beer taste any different when it's expired?

High:
1) I can remember most of prom last night, which is a good feeling. No shameful memories, either.
2) I got called an "8" on The 1 to 10 Scale of Hawtness™.
Low:
1) I suspect he may have just said that to be polite after I rated him.
2) My head hurts.

All in all, a pretty good day.

High: Found a store that hadn't sold out of the new iPhone
Low: Spent way to much money on a new phone.

I plan on reading them when I'm through the books I'm currently reading, but I wanted to just see some lord of the rings today, and the movies are shorter and allow me to multitask.

I still haven't seen the movies... Tolkien is a pretty neat author though, I think.

High: Getting ice cream with my friend at 3 in the morning.
Low: Almost hitting deer at 2:30 in the morning (going 80 in a 50 mph zone.. oops). Going to bed at 7, waking up at 9. And having to give one of my bunnies to my friend because he's not getting along with the other one.

Low: Just about all of it. I suck at researching, so I still haven't managed to do my comparative politics papers. There'll be no sleep at all tonight, I suspect. I suppose that's what I get for choosing the Czech Republic as the focus of my case study (I just thought it would be cool, since my dad's side of the family is Bohemian). Half the websites are in Czech and the other half are in political science-speak, a language I've yet to learn.

High: Um... I've got a thermos full of Earl Grey tea? Also, singing out loud along with my iPod while walking to the sandwich shop.

High point of the weekend: getting a new (new to me, 2006) car! It's lovely and happymaking and the nicest car I have ever driven!
Low point: car payment (duh), and now I have to get rid of a car with no brakes that won't start, that I can't even put into neutral. And I can't leave it parked out there too much longer or my complex may tow it...

Thermite it into small, easily movable chunks!

Or call a scrapyard, I know at least one of the ones around here will pick it up for free. You might even get some cash out of it.

High: It turns out my EU prof will be calculating grades like a sane person, instead of doing some kind of voodoo chicken dance that a lot of professors seem to like. That means I'll only need a minimum score of 40 on the final to pass the class.

Also, was invited to a friend's barbecue.
Also part two, got to dig through an electronic junk pile.

Low: Didn't do anything useful.
Sliced my hand open whilst trying to open a can.
I've become VERY light-sensitive in my left eye. Now I wear half a pair of rose-tinted sunglasses in addition to my spectacles.

High: Late night study-snacks in the cafeteria. And watching the robin outside my window.

Low: Comparative politics exam, just by nature of it being an exam. Also, realizing I'd slept for nine solid hours when I tried to take an afternoon nap.

High: I used today being Kodomo no Hi as an excuse to go to the sushi restaurant for dinner. I had yellowtail maki and gyoza and green tea ice cream while watching the Discovery Channel.

Low: The walk there was hot, and the walk back was rainy. I just barely made it to the dorm before it started thundering.
