Japanese class was fun, and I actually learned some stuff. Like the number 4, which I have a nasty habit of forgetting for some reason.

Low: Going to ceramics right after weaving class. I suck so bad at working in clay it's just more depressing every time I have to go to that class. :(

High : Had the neighborhood kids over for dinner.

Low : Woke up feeling like I've been hit by a bus (I have allergies, and possibly bronchitus and strep throat, both of which I've had several times before and I get them periodically, I go through the day tasting blood and acid in the back of my throat) And besides, I don't sleep well when I sleep.

Rock Bottom low : had to face the fact that I'm an adult now and that having stuffed animals on my bed is no longer cute. D:
Yes, well that's a compelling argument; but you forget one fundamental fact, you suck!

High: Something that shouldn't occur didn't occur.
Low: I've resigned myself to another night of sleeping 4 hours or less. This is the third in a row. I haven't caught 8 for over a week. And I haven't spent the extra time on anything worthy of it.

That made my lol, thanks.

But really, things are OK-

High: I learned that it is possible to breakup with someone you love with zero acrimony. Guess we both recognized what is best for all of us- we're still good friends.
:? : Forcing good humor to avoid potential awkwardity. Friends still don't know about the breakup yet.
Low: I promised myself that I would not pay for school food, but did anyway. Their pizza is crap.
High: Electronic parts arrived today!
Low: But I accidentally ordered some in Surface Mount. :x
High: Sociology class was canceled.

High - listening to lots of spiffy gorgeous music (Poulenc's Gloria. Oh yes.)
Low - I was woken up by a JW. :(

(For yesterday)

High: I had 3 hours of mucking about in the music department! And the best part is, that was what I'm supposed to be doing for my course :D
Low: Try as I might I just couldn't pay attention at all in musical acoustics. The thing is it's not all music/music tech students doing that course, there's also physics students too. Which means the lecturer had to go through all the basic music terms and explain about scales and octaves and the circle of fifths and other things the 9 of us doing music tech (music students didn't have to attend the lecture) have known for years.
High: I got some lyrics written while I was not paying attention :D
Low: The girl next to me seemed intent on knowing what I was writing and I don't share my lyrics until I am sure that they're right. Which I don't think these ones were.

High: being asked by our teacher to find 30 new words we didn't know from the first unit of the workbook. After looking through it several times, I came up with 5. Yay for confidence boost!
Low: Meh at procrastination and my day in general.

For yesterday -

High - Looking at properties with my realtor and found one that I am pretty sure I will end up buying
Low - a Pigeon had flown into a window and had a broken wing and broken leg. It had obviously been there for awhile because it was hardly moving at all. Options - leave it be and let it starve and die in pain or put it out of its' misery.
I chose the latter and feel like crap about it.

Low point - Being told that, yes, it's my lack of communication that caused me so much aggravation, and not anyone else's inability to open their mouths and tell me stuff.

High point - All three of my kids came through the office, and all three (including the 9 month old) gave me hugs and kisses.

High: Finally managed to re-install Fallout 2. Picked up my old savegame and am now trying to scratch together and extra $1000 to free Vic from the slavers because my character is too chaste to have the price halved by a simple sexual favour. I could get at least that if not more from the mayor of Redding if I can manage to sell the dead to the mine back to him after I've cleaned it out of those weird beasts, but I took a trip down the well and fought two of them and died very quickly. Next level, I'm going to pump most of my skill points into small guns, I think.
Low: I've been trying to write a personal statement for uni applications and realised that I can't really write much down about how much I love physics. I haven't done much reading around the subject (unless reading sci-fi counts, which it likely won't) and it just sounds really lame and unconvincing.
Low: I'm trying to get pictures of Jupiter for schoolwork using a telescope and a webcam, but from any point in the back garden where I can set up the telescope, Jupiter is hidden behind the tree next door.
High: I kicked ass in TF2.

Music through radio waves? Pffft. What kind of science are they teaching you kids, now?

Everyone knows that you can only get music over the Internet. If that were possible, then I'd be able to just have a little . . . Radio Player, that I can carry around and wouldn't have to bother loading MP3s onto.
