What I'll get:

What I'm giving:
- World peace, cure for cancer and food for everyone. Or, at least $1000 in that direction.
- Hugs

I suppose what I really want is a garage, so that I can have a nice miter saw. :(

Want?

iPod
Xbox 360
Macbook Pro
New Soprano Sax

But all together, that comes out to approximately $5,000. Probably more.

Expect to get:

A440 Tuner
Alto Sax Mouthpiece
Pajama Pants
Movies
Books?
Giftcards

Which adds up to closer to $300.

Does that make me greedy?....Maybe.

A certain boy's phone number <3

But actually, I just asked for it before the break, and he said no. It was rather awkward. And that's how I learned he has a girlfriend. But anyhow, things that money CAN buy:

Any books by Robert Ludlum, a couple CDs, cash. Or nothing, it doesn't matter much. Christmas is fun because I get to pig out at my grandma's. Mm, feastings.

Ideally, I want a flying saucer

Realistically, I would like money or a better graphics card (This one barely handles Morrowind right now D:)

This Christmas, I'm building an aircraft receiver from a kit. It has: 118-136MHz Band, Dual PLL, universal BNC input, nifty digital LCD display. It will take a month or so to build.

$10,000 would be quite nice, but I doubt I will be receiving such a sum.

My other desires are also rather unlikely to be requited: some proper hats, especially a proper silk top hat; decent clothes, particularly some new boiled shirts and a nice evening coat; a nice walking umbrella; and a variety of other such things that are almost completely unobtainable in this miserable country.

As for what I will actually be receiving, I have very little information, despite the tradition in my family of covertly gathering such information. There have been several comments about how difficult it is to find presents for me, but such a complaint could apply to most family members. I do have information, from reliable sources, that my grandmother is giving me a rather set of crystal that has been in the family for a few generations, but no one has been able to describe it to me as it appears that my grandmother has hidden it away for decades; in fact, it appears that the existence of the crystal was hitherto unknown by various relatives interested in such things.

I went to a Rock Band tournament for a children's charity last week. One of the raffle prizes was a gigantic Weighted Companion Cube plushie. I was two numbers off from winning it. :( It would have been AWESOME.

Am I the only one here who doesn't particularly care for the Weighted Companion Cube, and didn't feel sorry about incinerating it? GLaDOS was a far more interesting and sociable companion, and having to destroy her was far more depressing.

a nice pair of moccasins, and the "if this shirt is witty enough" xkcd shirt. I saw the office shirts googled on my moms computer, i hope its a decent one if she gets me that. I already bought myself the orange box, so i basically dont need anything else ever. Except a macbook pro. *shiver with desire*

Love (or at least acknowledgement) from a certain someone would be nice, but completely unlikely (if it happens, I can fully expect to fly if I leap from Hoover Tower).

Other than that, I'd like some music, books, and clothes, just the generic things (I'm easy to please). Unfortunately, I need to forgo most of these in favor of money if I can, simply because China Tour 2008 is the most expensive tour to date, and I'm trying to pay it without asking my mom directly.

I'm getting a VAIO laptop. It should get here tomorrow so I'm pretty happy about that. Since it was about $1400 I don't think I'm going to get much else this year, but I'm alright with that, the laptop I'm using now is my sister's old one from 2000.

A coffee pot, a GPS, a pair of flying goggles and a trenchcoat.

Had I actually thought to ask for any of them. Well, there's always next year ;)

Would a hippocampus work as a compromise?

What I know I'm getting.

1. Cheap but cool slim fit suit. (sometimes it pays to be skinny).

2. Some surprise gift I said I wanted when I was really drunk. I can't remember what it was now.

3. £££

4. Sandman 4

5. Some aftershave I'll never wear.

What I want but won't be getting:

Ray ban Wayfarers my mum really hates them (and the price) and so won't get them for me.

What I've got for other people:
Dad - Jean-Paul Gautier for men.
Mum - Perfume she likes, I can't remember the name.
Sister - Armani white & Playboy hipflask
Friends - 300 TRP - V for Vendetta TRP - Mexican wrestler mask - Make-up - Big fat Havana Cigar.

EDIT: Fix spelling/grammar, remove incriminating bits.

Protip: don't try it

I know what I'm getting because I've been running round getting general family presents with my sister the past couple of days because my mum can't deal with the idea of Christmas at the moment.
  • Call of Duty 4 (PC)
  • cooking utensils (yay for being a student and forgetting important stuff like wooden spoons)
  • bath mat (yay again)
  • some irritating puzzle thing I'll probably never finish
  • new jeans
