Comfortably buzzed. A friend of mine came over and watched me drink a few beers, so that was great, I guess.

I'm pretty fucking drnuk. I went to a pub after work with my manager, supervisor, and two of my collegues and had a couple of pints. Then, before I made too much of a fool of myself, I went back to Selly Oak (the part of Birmingham where I live) too meet up witth some mates and have another drink. I ended up telling one of my mates everything that happened during mine and my ex's relationship, all the fuck ups and every sore detail. It felt good, though. I fell a lot better now that I've spoken to someoneone who isn't either my ex or my family. Although the world spins when I close my eyes, I feel good.

Welp, that was cinqo de moustache. A night when we get together, complement our moustaches (real and fake alike), and drink tequila. Of course we shut ourselves down around 11 so that we wouldn't lose the money we made in ticket sales with noise complaint tickets, but then it was off to the bar, which highlights included telling a guy what bar he was at, getting a free beer because a friend bought a picther, and keeping a DFF (dumb fucking frosh), from hitting on my friend who has a girlfriend. How did i accompleish this? by beying the weird, slightly awkward guhy that i always am. I may be as capable of attracting a females attention as a peacock with not auil, but at least I have amazing friends who I know will stand by my side if need be.

Was a bit drnuk last night. Went out drinking, ended up taking a mate to A+E because he was so drunk he managed to fall off of a six foot wall and hit his head whilst sitting down. Drunk people trying to ensure drunker people don't have concussion = endless fun.

I never buy cigarettes, because that way I'm not a smoker. Last week I finally bought some bourbon to keep in my apartment. It is delicious.

Welp, it turns out that electiccal and computer engineers aren't the most social people to hang out with. We tried to finish the keg, but eventually got bored and went to the bar instead. The cops keep on showing up to this bar with noise complaints, which is kinda annoying, since its a university bar, and its not like we're being incredbily obnoxious and rowdy, we're just out having a drink on a friday night. It also turns out that the scottish girl i like is a bit of a slut, nbut i already knew that. Noramlyy i wouldn't call people sluts, but well, this girl is trying to sleep with at least one guy from each letter in the alphabet. And i'[m not exagerttating, she told me herself. I really wish I had the courage to tell an actually nice girl i liked her. Bah, it'll happen. HAPY FRIDAY XKCD!!!!! May you live a life of happeiness, fun, and everfolwinhg social lubricatnts!

I'm not drunk at the minute, but my girlfriend was going through some old text messages that I'd sent her and came across this gem from a few weeks ago when we went out to different places. I reproduce verbatim here:

Hello. I'm drunk but got home OK. I callem by yours but you wernxht thern - hope I didn't make a mes7. I had a good mjy, qypn youmrmh. I'm going to bem, goodnig

I love the way it veers from coherence to incoherence and then back again, as well as the fact that I'm still attempting to puntuate when I can't spell.
Please note that despite the lovely avatar Sungura gave me, I am not a medical doctor.

Possibly my proudest moment on the fora.

Ok, first of all, I've discovered drunkenness for me is partially a state of mind. Tonight I've drank enough to get me drunk, but since I've noticed I get emotional when drunk, and I've got lots of stuff to get emotional about these days, I decided to stop at getting properly buzzed. So far, it's worked for a couple of weeks. And don't worry, I deal with the emotional issues sober, seems more healthy all around.

Secondly, you can sing Nein mann on pretty much every electronish song. A couple of examples where it worked are Satisfaction, Around The World and Hey Boy, Hey Girl.

Well that's it. After a 2 month hiatus on my drinking earlier this year, and gradually increasing my beer consumption in the months since, I once again find myself on the slippery slope to alcoholism. I'm still not up to the levels I used to be at, but I think it's only a matter of time. Every time it's "fancy a drink" -> "have a drink" -> "have more drinks now that I'm in the mood for drinking" -> "feel guilty".

Bloody hell.

A night of cocktails to celebrate one of my engineer colleagues hitting 21. Black Russian followed by a glass of port followed by an Old Fashioned. Surprisingly nice. Sortof peeved off the bar-lass coming up after being informed Last Orders was being called and ordering that OF, and she wasn't terribly subtle in getting out the fact she would have to have a serious read of the recipe for it.

Greetings drunk thread! I have retruned from the bar, and am now hwere to program. I think i'm near ballmer's peack, so by either waiting or drinking some more i should be fine. also see rante thread for reason i ended up gretting drunk in fuirst place. Shit thats a lot of mispelled words. Also, it occurs to me that the best adventures in life can be had while drunk, and as long as u remember them, will be looked back upon with donfness, and reminseced with to ur eventual offspring, often with much hyperbole. Now i'm wondering about all the stories my parents told me about their uni experiences....

Hello fora, I am very drunk and trying my best not to make any typos although I'm quite sure they will be very much in evidence when I wake up tomorrow. The security guys from campus have my name after I ripped down all the posters at one part of campus. It's ok though because I went back and picked all of them up, even the ones that I didn't rip down but my friends did. I started it though so it is all my fault. And the security guy was just doing his job I think.

Got somewhat drunk last night at a uni shindig in the city's nightclub area (Perth has one. It's not a very big city). Ran into some mates I haven't seen since high school, that was fun.

Wow rthis is trhe deunkwst i've been in a while. I have to say, tonight was an ineteresint night. I skipped going to a npp (no pants party) in exchange for a schwargszaneger drinkering ga,e tpo Total Recall. aFTer that we went to our favourite bar, which had a line, which it NEVER has. Once I got in though, I drank with the girl who's npp party it was, chatted it up, but didn't do anything with a cougar, talked to a newfie vet who was veryt, very drunbk, gave directions to a liverpoolian, and dramnk with the most famous regular at the pub, teddy! Tonight, I drank. ZTommoorow, I will be hungover, and working. The life of an enngineering student is fraught with peril and beer.
