There's supposed to be a new comic now.. right? Did I get the day wrong? Are all of my clocks off? Has there been a terrible server crash?

*deep breath*

Anyone know what's up?

Hmmm not out yet thats not good.
So I'm not the only one who centers their week using this comic. Oh well I hope it doesn't ruin my week that badly I mean its almost as bad as having your clock reset.

Isn't "no xkcd" on a Monday one of the signs of the apocalypse?

This can mean only one thing. Either Randall or I is travelling very fast or in a very high gravitational field.

"New York - Wall Street is in a panic today as stocks plunge after 90% of America's work force didn't show up to work today. When asked, the absentee workers cited a loss of will to live and a lack of reason to even get up. These symptoms seem to be centered around a webcomic entitled "XKCD", which- wait, it didn't update? Screw the newscast, I'm going back to sleep."

I definitely have been measuring time the last week or so by XKCD updates. Now I'm totally thrown.

Yeah. Without, you know, class/work, what else is there to use?

Well, if we can't get a new comic, we can pull something out of the archives. I'm not sure if this one was ever actually posted, or not. Either way, I hadn't seen it.

Can't even rely on the TV schedule anymore...

WTB competent writers :-(

Not that I watched more than 3 shows, but they were on days that XKCD didn't update :-p

I don't remember seeing that, although it's been a long time since I've gone through all the old ones. (Hey! That's what I'll do to mourn the "no xkcd" Monday; re-read all of the old ones!)

Man, without my XKCD fix, I'm getting depressed - loosing my handle on life. You know, maybe Windows isn't so bad. Python's whitespace sensitivity is a flaw. Open Source is dead-end. I think I'll go read some "Cathy" or "Garfield."

I don't recall the title of that one, but it was a satire on "what if xkcd was printed in a newspaper".

"no xkcd" Monday shall be revered among one of the most terrible days of all time. Next to Black Tuesday and the day Bambi became an orphan, "no xkcd" Monday shall be marked as the 3rd step in the steady decline of civilization itself.

If something bad happened to Randall he should know we're rooting for him!
Edit: Also I'd like to note that's it's funny how the OP was written by "MissingDividends" ...

The longer it's stuck on the "Reset" comic, the more it begins to feel like performance art....

I hearken back to my early days of reading xkcd.
"It may be a jewel of [humor and wit], but [xkcd] is JUST a [WEBCOMIC] It shows WEBPAGES. What the hell is wrong with us?"
fortunately, this subsides quickly.

Well, OBVIOUSLY if Randall isn't around to post Monday's, he's fallen into deep trouble of some sort (including but not necessarily death), and if he didn't post Monday's at 9pm (nor, I daresay, even at 11pm) PST, he will never ever ever ever return. Especially not to XKCD.

Alright, that was enough cynicism for me. Yup, Wednesday it is. Or maybe he wanted to mix it up and withhold it and post it during the day, just to surprise us - "MUAHAHAH! They shan't be able to function, and once I post it, at 2:14:11 EST, they will be so filled with joy that they'll write me a check for an unreasonable amount of money."
