Confession: Kinetika may have just convinced me to go find a violin, just to see how much I remember.

Confession: I haven't so much as touched a violin in over a decade. The closest I've gotten to music since then was helping some friends move a piano. I haven't even played Guitar Hero.

Confession: The above confession is only true if you don't count building an equalizer with duct, a drill, plastic wrap, and a propane tank. Teachers that let you ignore most of your physics homework in exchange for a kick ass-presentation at the end rock.

I'm actually sitting at the desk with it now, seeing how much I can remember :)

I've determined that I can almost perfectly remember intros and basic rhythm sections, but for the life of me I can't wrap my brain around the harder solos and some particularly nasty intros.

Double edged sword that I play primarily by ear. I can hear what sounds wrong and fix it accordingly, but I don't have any tabs or notes written that I can work from. :(

I've also noticed that I have a tendency to finish pages. o_o I'm almost infallibly within the last three or four posters on the page.

Edit: And grats, schumi! :D

I just realized that the time between now and the last time I played violin is greater than the time between my birth and the last time I played violin.

confession: upon looking through my contacts on my cell phone, i realized there were a few names that i did not recognize. after asking some of my friends i found out the reason. at my friend travis' going away party, we all got extremely inebriated, and i managed to collect phone numbers from 3 girls there.

additional confession: i deleted all three numbers after having decided that i have enough commitment issues as it is. such is life.

edited confession: i used to play the piano. swing and classical were my forte. i stopped playing because it got boring. now i don't have a piano to play on.
Compromise: Lowering my standards so you can meet them.

Related to Previous Confession: Halfheartedly being able to pick out some of the more defining notes of "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" does not, in fact, give me the right to claim that I can play Iron Maiden.

Wow. I've been sleeping in lately, because I don't have school anymore, and I get about 8 hours a night. That's 2 more than usual.

And yay for graduating!

I don't want to go find a violin for the violining, I just want to see if "It's just like riding a bike" can compete with something like 14 years of neglect. Though I have been needing a hobby, so I might just stick with it.

@Kineticka: Start jamming! For me?

Congratulations on graduating guys, I still have 5 weeks left, but I guess as exams have finished I'm pretty much taking it as a holiday. On a related note I got 90% on my Science exam, last year I got 98, no!...nerd...powers...fading...call for...help.

I think my test-self is somewhat of a superpower, when I get into the groove some of the stuff I later look on in really smart (yes, I know there was a thread for this, thankyou)

Confession: I'm going to visit my Uncle this weekend, and will be unable to access the fora. For years, I've been trying to convince him to get internet, but he's stubborn. Confession: Every time someone feels the need to repeat a question about Numi several times in a couple different ways because they seem to be somehow convinced I'm lying, I just want to hit them. (Apparently she can't possibly be a purebred beagle, because she doesn't have any black on her! I must have been lied to, she's obviously a mix! And clearly she can't be 2.5 years old, she must be about 6 months old! How can I have had her for over 2 years?) Why do people think it's acceptable to do this?!

Confession: I tried to post the same complaint in a different format in the random thoughts thread, but then my internet died and I lost the post, so I decided to do it here instead.

I'm in a similar boat, but haven't got the requisite resolve to make the full freeze and uninstall. I haven't played in almost two months now, maybe longer, but there are still people that I enjoy talking to.

I'm probably going to do it out of economy. I just need to close my eyes.

Confession: The recent months of completely not playing the game has resulted in a happier me. It's amazing how much that game can suck out your life if you let it. :(

Good resolve Parka! You can do it! Also, on the game sucking up stupid amounts of time: 100 DAYS over the course of 365 for playtime, not including time spent on the forums or patching or private servers. Albeit about 15-20 are probably afk time, still.

Hellgate: London is a sexy, sexy game. I'm working my way through the single player first before I start the multi player. It's not the most efficient for graphics, but hey, it still looks good, and it runs well on most systems.

Also, According to firefox uninstalled is spelled wrong and one of the choices is uninstall ed.
