Fix'd to complement the accurate level of vitrol. Gojoe, I have utter faith in your relationship. However, it's not a good look to get defensive on people who don't have such faith. When you argue that you guys are fine, it gives credence to the argument that you are not. Ignoring it, however, debases that argument.

To me it's less the fact that it was argued and more the way in which it was argued. So basically what I_D said.
souldelay wrote:@Ghostwolfe- why would you post something like that other than to be a dick?
Because this is a confession thread, where people confess to things that they feel uncomfortable with, like an unpopular opinion.

Confession: My jerkass tendencies are getting harder and harder to curb. I find myself wanting to punch my cousins, then thinking "No, don't be an idiot". I'm not sure if it's cause they're so freaking annoying, or if I'm tired, or if it's a natural progression on my long road to being a jackass, but I don't like it.

I agree. I tried to say so earlier but I wasn't adamant enough.

Also, this is really funny.

I also agree that saying its fine makes it sound worse.

Try getting more sleep, if that's what you meant by "tired". I get like that too, sometimes.

Gahhhh the fishing for compliments will it ever end?

Confession: I apparently speak more formally than most people consider necessary. For example, my boss said "Can you put away all these go-back items?" And I did, except for the paper towels, and I came back to him and said "Would you put these away for me? They're on the top shelf and I can't reach them properly." Then I was thoroughly teased for saying the word "properly."

Related confession: Sometimes I'm jealous of tall people. I know the world's not built for you, right, but at 6'4" I could have a lot of presence.
Raise up the torch and light the way.

i thought the whole point of forums or atleast how i utilise them is to be able to express myself in an environment where i can be myself and where judgements against me matter to me less.

You can never please everyone in life. Im almost certain ive irritated people on the forums, infact most people probably have and it shouldn't bother you. Personally ive found Boman to be a cool guy on the forums but thats just me.

So onto new conversational grounds.

@Quix I actually quite like being average height but thats mainly due to me desire to fit in.

I'm 6'4. It's a pain in the ass. Absolutely nothing is made for you. Least of all airplanes. And don't believe George Zimmer, he can't make you like the way you look in his clothes, because normal pants become flood pants in conjunction with your abominably tall frame. I mean, I even suck at basketball. I wish i was between 5'10 and 6'.

I was flying in a puddle jumper between Waco and Dallas last week and I had to sit cannonball style the entire time. the stewardess told me I had to put my legs down, and the only way I could made it so I couldn't actually sit in the seat since it was levering me up. So she offered me an apology that i didn't fit, and they moved me to an exit row, which I got bruises on my knees from sitting in. Dammit height.

confession: I finished the soldier son trilogy last night, and when I got to the end and relised that that was it, I'm never going to read anything new about those guys ever again. they're dead. this happened to me with all of robin hobb's trilogies (except the twany man. my god, those were aweful), and for some reason with them alone. also, I hate reading the princess bride because at westly and buttercup's reunion he opens theese things () (I just relised I don't know what they're called), and never closes them the WHOLE. DAMN. BOOK. somwhere out there there's a book that opens them and never closes. now I'll have to write a book and close a pair I didn't opened, just to balance this.

Big confession time.... I do not know how to drive... I am like the only 19 year old that doesn't know how. My step father REFUSED to let me practice with his car. And by the time all my friends had their own car they just assumed I knew how.... I usually do not correct them....
