Yatzhee = Hat Guy?

Postby Nyarlathotep » Thu Apr 03, 2008 8:56 pm UTC

I have convinced that Yatzhee of Zero Punctuation is, in fact, Hat Guy.

Some supporting evidence from Dueling Analogs:

(note: this is meant to be amusing. I know that Hat Guy existed before Zero Punctuation. It's funny. Laugh. .. ok it's not. Laugh anyway.)

This is why I don't wear hats. Then people will think I have no evil intentions.

Except woolly hats, of course. They're comfy.
This is a placeholder until I think of something more creative to put here.

Hats make some people evil. However, they also prove that the wearer is not a raptor, so much less evil than they could be.

Hats make people evil? I don't know what you are talking about, guys. Hats are pleasant accessories for the discerning human, conveying that the wearer is not only kind, but also clever and personable. I mean, I am wearing a bowler. So it must be true.

It is the type of hat the grants the properties of good an evil. A bowler is obviously a "good" kind of hat, for those that are good, others such as baseball caps are of questionable nature.

But is a cap a hat?

Aram is one of my most favorite character's ever. I read Men in Hats long before xckd. Even before I could conferm the connection between Aram and Black Hat Guy, I noticed many similarities (hats included).

Once again, I will express my desire for owning a top hat (Belial, I still have the link you gave me from earlier, so don't think I've already forgotten).

Don't be silly. Raptors can't wear hats. Look at me, I'm wearing a hat and I'm human. Maybe a little bit evil too, but it comes with the territory.

All I want from life is a fedora in royal blue. Not a cowboy hat, not a bucket hat (I think that's what they call these things), not a baseball cap, not a stripped fedora, not a pimp-hat fedora, just a plain fedora in purest, royal blue.

This will make me a very happy hat-wearing evil-when-it's-effective Jewboy (just because my religion mandates covering my head doesn't mean I can't do so in style).

But nobody makes the things because apparently those above the age of twelve aren't allowed to wear vibrant colors. They have to wear dull colors, eggshell/pale hues of bright colors, dark colors, or preferably just combinations of black, brown, beige, white, and (if you really want to be TACKY) maroon.

Death to fashion! Bring back fun colors!

Dinosaurs wearing hate itself like some sort of garment are easy to spot, and completely unstoppable. If you see one coming, you should try and end yourself quickly.

I have a white striped robin-egg blue one. 'tis sweet.

I also have a white w/ pink stripes
black w/ white stripes
black w/ thick pink stripes
grey w/ white stripes (apparently grey isn't a word in the Firefox spell check, but Grey is....)

Not to mention a giant paper samurai hat (poster board giant) with a matching queen mask.

I find the manner in which a hat is worn (rakish angle, backwards, right way etc.) designates whether the individual is inherently good or evil.

Hats are not nearly as reliable a litmus test of evil as goatees. I find myself trusting someone in a black hat far more than someone in a white hat.
My goal in life is to have money, power, fame, wisdom, and love.
So far, I've got a sense of humor.
It's a good start.

Black Fedora + Trenchcoat + creepy face + obsession with dissecting bodies = Murderous Psychopath, right?

Spoiler:
Wrong. Gunter Von Haagens is the creator of the Bodies exhibition, and the inventor of a method of preserving bodies in epoxy. And makes autopsies look totally cool. He had an inch-thick-slice of human that you could almost used like a stained glass window! How cool is that?

Therefore, black hats= good.

Different hats are different evils. A baseball cap could be the thug type of bad. But no magnificent bastard will be caught dead with a baseball cap. Likewise, neither will necromancers.
