They had feathers, they couldn't fly however.

I bet the feathers made them all nice and soft and cuddly too. :D

That velociraptor is overly friendly and adorable-looking. It conceals its murderous intent.

However, that totally inspires me to do one of my own. My math classroom is going to get remodeled next year, so people have been drawing on the walls as sort of a farewell gesture. I'll have to draw a velociraptor somewhere now... I'm sure quite a few people in that class would get it.
A good pun is its own reword.
