No, it became a rape joke the moment you included the word 'rape' in your attempt at a joke.

That you didn't intend to tell a rape joke is merely a further illustation of your incompetence with jokes.
Unless stated otherwise, I do not care whether a statement, by itself, constitutes a persuasive political argument. I care whether it's true.

Allright, fine, it was a rape joke. I didn't mean to present it like that, and I apologise for it.

I still didn't deserve all the insults from the moderator though. The two of you have also grossly derailed this thread with your bitching about it.

Teelo, in the future please handle inquiries about moderation (i.e. this one) via PM to the relevant moderator. This is specifically mentioned in the forum rules and exists because arguments in the thread about moderation tend to derail everything. Sorta like what happened here.

ALSO: As a general note for everyone, this community is entirely unwelcoming of rape jokes. If you make one, someone is going to tell you to get fucked and the moderation staff is apt to let a reasonable degree of chastising slide. If we feel the need to step in officially, it'll be in colored text or in a PM that also issues you a formal warning.

If anyone has lingering questions or concerns about any of this, please send me a PM.

- Az

Felidae (1056)
felidae-question-mark.png
Good data on cat vs. cow fights is hard (for me) to find (quickly).
(Actual title of this is "Felidae?", but that filename was rejected by the forum software for some reason.)

This is what I thought when I first read UV (1469)
uv-fire.png
...I don't know that UV light would actually do that. Alt. title text: "It's only when you look at an ant through a magnifying glass on a sunny day that you realize how often they burst into flames"—wraith's signature, and apparently from Harry Hill. Alt. alt. title text: ...wait, shined? shone? shinnen? shane? did shine?

xkcd-scrabble.png
This is also secretly where the name "xkcd" came from (18 points!).

I liked how quickly the UV escalated.

I agree if he didn't think that including "rape" would have a consequence he might be a bit blind. Do you not have sympathy for the blind? What about the tone deaf?

;) :P

I feel like I've found teelo very competent with humor. Edgy, sure. We all can sometimes not realize what issues a small change can make.

Since Teelo's modification of 1468 worked out so well, I thought I'd try one of my own. But don't worry, mine doesn't mention rape. (Uh ... cancer jokes are okay, right?)

Today's comic is just begging for a Minecraft joke, but the only good one I can come up with is "remake the picture in-game", and I just don't have the focus for that sort of undertaking.

So imagine one of your own here, and pretend I'm super witty.

Fun to go through, yes. However since they get you when you are not looking sleeping a night in there is a bad plan. Living for a significant time would need a permanent solution such as an infinite life cheat or distracting the boos by feeding them passing plumbers.

Actually I meant 221. Both comics are just a piece of code which claims to do something fancy but actually just returns a constant, though I suppose 1425 also inspired it. The actual inspiration for the object-identifying was a comic which I thought was xkcd but which I then couldn't find so I suppose it probably wasn't which involved a robot which supposedly had a rather good success rate for identifying objects but incorrectly kept identifying things as cats.
