Seriously, people! If you see a questionable thread/post, REPORT IT! All it does on the moderator end is add a little exclamation point icon that, when clicked, takes you to the report/post I forget which. Point being, it's no big deal on the Moderator's end to look at reported posts. Large red flashing lights don't go off, there's no siren going WHOOPWHOOPWHOOP or anything like that. It's incredibly nice and handy and useful.

Aww :(
I was picturing a scene a bit like in a submarine where a target has just been identified to be destroyed. With associated 'Dive, Dive, dive' stuff as well. Um, oh well. I'm oging to catch a cat now. (Vet.)

Also, this forum is moving fast as hell now.

That is because this thread is in meta-fora-space, not regular fora-space. Different rules apply here. For example, there is a non-zero chance that your post-count will grow by a number greater than one for any post you make, a process called quantum post tunneling. Also, from the time you hit "submit" to the time your post appears, it is said to be both "alive" and "dead", a thought experiment called Schrodinger's Post.

that would be because i am far more responsible than you, and already reported it (assuming we are talking about the thread i think we are talking about). So i don't think you need to feel too special.

I have made an incredible discovery today.
Belial is not human. He's not even a raptor, as he might lead us to beleive. No, he is a Devil!
Wikipedia wrote:Belial (also Belhor, Baalial, Beliar, Belias , Beliall, Beliel, Bilael; from Hebrew בְּלִיַּ֫עַל Bəliyyáʻal; also named Matanbuchus, Mechembuchus, Meterbuchus in older scripts) is an evil being in Jewish apocrypha, and also a term used to characterize the wicked or worthless.
---------

Spoiler:
In early Christian writings, Belial was identified first as an angel of confusion and lust, created after Lucifer. Paradoxically, some apocrypha credit Belial as being the father of Lucifer and the angel that convinced him to wage a rebellion in Heaven against God, and that Belial was the first of the fallen angels to be expelled.

In the New Testament the word is used to refer to Satan when asked by St. Paul as to how Christ and Belial can agree. The passage in the Bible NIV states: "What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?" (2 Cor 6:15).

Since the Middle Ages he has been considered to be a powerful king of Hell that gives excellent familiars to his followers. As a demon he was said to have an agreeable aspect, and to induce to any type of sins, especially those related to sex and lust. Sebastien Michaelis states that Belial seduces by means of arrogance and his adversary is St. Francis of Paola; in this sense his name is translated as "Lord of Arrogance" or "Lord of Pride" (Baal ial).

I'd always seen a link between Belial (the user) and this. Seeing as Belial (the Devil) also is a term, I suppose it explaing such a derivation. Also explains why Belial (user) does give a false representation of himself being human from his hat.

Hmm, suddenly struck by a vision of Belial posting on xkcd in a dystopian past where raptors are the core membergroup, with humans the predator they're all paranoid of.
Belial posts using an avatar of a crude human image with a photo-shopped raptor appendage somewhere on top, with the title "I'm raptor, just look at my scything talon which inexplicably lives on my right shoulder!"

Well, this is awkward. I had something I wanted to say in response to an earlier post, but kept reading and now a) I can't remember what I wanted to say and b) it'd be horribly off-topic now.

So I'll say that this is one of the few forums I've been to where the mods and plebeian users coexist peacefully and such.

Except with Belial. I live in fear of him every moment, hoping he doesn't edit my post to make it look like I said something different or give me a custom title that's embarrassing. But at least I don't have to be afraid of him hunting me down and killing me with razor-sharp teeth, right?
