a little bit of both. Im' not particularly any religion, but I happen to believe in meditation and mantra, and while not strictly tibetan buddhism, I still think they're beautiful, so I put them up anyway ^__^

I mostly work at my office, so most of my time at home is spent in my living room. My bedroom is pretty much just for sleeping.

There ARE sheets on my bed.

They're just blue. Like the mattress. Which is why I'm assuming you got screwed up?

Mmkay. I thought the desk/office area was a bit more interesting. I'll add the bedroom later if it's really all that important. Like Tallest, my bedroom is just for sleeping.

My (newly rearranged!) office area:

And my bookshelves, to my right. I need to re-sort the manga shelf, though, it's a mess. The top two-three shelves of the rightmost bookcase are the majority my Neil Gaiman collection, minus the prints & the Amano painting that I've got put away at the moment.

To my left and to the back are the CD/DVD racks. They're horribly disorganized right now, so forgive that:

The Grand Tour (Post your rooms)

Postby J Spade » Wed Jan 02, 2008 2:51 am UTC

Apologies if this has been done already, but a search for "post your room" only searched for "room", yielding many pages of results to look through. I'd rather have this thread deleted.

Anyway, show us your living quarters. No cleaning up before the picture either. Leave it all as it is RIGHT NOW.

Unfortunately, my camera is charging. I will get back to you with pictures tomorrow. Until then, here is a view of a small area of my room behind me. Honestly, I can't remember what this picture was for.

Well, someone linked this, and since I have a new camera I have to post, so you get a whole 3 pictures for admiring how messy my room is. Still, it isn't dangerous or smelly so it's good.

Actually, taking pictures makes me realise just how insanely messy it is. It also makes me realise I have 3 computers in my room. Note that this room is (quite unfortunately) shared with my brother >.<

My bed is the higher one.

I think the problem with my room is that it isnt just the floor that's messy.

Anyway, I've cleaned up most of my CDs and such. So thats a start.

Actually, my brothers bed is always relatively clean, and easy to walk on. It's also in the centre of the room, so I dont actually need to touch the floor.

Part of the reason it gets so messy is that 2 people are contributing, but neither of us wants to clear up the others mess so neither of us cleans up. But I think I'll get my brother to do some anyway...

And also, I have seen messier rooms, by far. Really.

Ahhhh, some of you people live in squalor! I shan't bother posting pictures of my room as it's all terribly uninteresting, but I get horribly anxious when there's a mess about, and would never be able to sleep a wink if everything wasn't "just so". I like things rather minimal, though, and I'm not a hoarder. I have a lot of cosmetic products and the like, so my dressing table is usually quite busy, and never seem to have enough wardrobe space, though, so I do regular clean outs. All my music is digital so CDs aren't an issue, and once I finish a book I tend to give it away, with rare exceptions.

It is, well, at least it is in Australia for the PS3 and 360. We haven't had any come into work (I work at GAME) but they are in our system and we do have prices for them, so they do exist.
