Please don't Care Bear Stare me

Postby Umlaut » Wed Sep 13, 2006 9:25 pm UTC

http://www.myspace.com/pimpbotmcnasty

If I have more MySpace friends, it means I'm loved.

Actually I use it as a nice way to either A) meet fake people who are advertising shills or B) keep in touch with people I never call.

Anyways, I am at work and grow weary of sitting around talking to idiots on the phone, so I figured I'd try talk to strangers in a forum.

Don't kill me.

I say yes, because I have a myspace account. Whether I go to it often...well, that's a different question.

MySpace is lame.

Via the scientifically proven "communicability property of suck", MySpace users are also lame.

This has been your needlessly inflammatory post for the day. Savor it. With your face.

While I hate the stereotypical MySpace user hu typz lik diz and has some horrible HTML mauling all over their page, and roughly 17,000 'friends' they've never even met, what annoys me even more is the blindly anti-MySpace fanatic who spends his days ridiculing anyone who even briefly looks at the site.

C'mon, if I had real friends I wouldn't need myspace.

I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to indifference.

While I can understand your sentiment, I cannot bring myself to hate the haters more than the "hu typz lik diz" hated. It's like telling someone not to key a Scientologist's car... on the one hand it is in general wrong, on the other hand they all need their cars to be keyed.

If you're a Scientologist, please don't burn down my house with your alien mind beams, just presume I'm deluded by Xenu or something and ignore this post.

my experience with myspace comes from the people i actually know who use it and that is why i don't care for it or the users. 95% or so look like those ugly girls from Fall Out Boy......XD

Background

Postby socialist » Sun Sep 17, 2006 6:45 am UTC

And now for something completely different:

I less than three your myspace background. The Koopa Shells one (just in case you happen to be one of those people who changes their background frequently).
No, we've gone way beyond hypocracy Dad; now we're just being mean.

kingdomofloathing.com was the first time I had it referred to as less than three. Now I use it all the time. KoL is another thing cooler than Myspace.

To clarify: I wasn't really 2. I would've thought that was pretty apparent by the fact I could, well, type that I was, but the GFAQs moderators seemed to disagree.

When you're at a University Library inbetween classes, and you want to check your e-mail, NOTHING is more annoying than seeing the bank of 7 computers in front of you taken up by MySpace users.

...ESPECIALLY when there's a line.

So, if you go to a certain library that looks like a cathedral in places, at a certain University with a very, very slippery Red Square, AND you're a MySpace user, please for the love of Glod don't log on between 15-after and 35-after on a public computer.

*end rant*

...Wait, what was this discussion about again?
When you have at your disposal a hammer made of three spacefaring battleships, do you still need to pay taxes?

This thread is now about monkeys with knives and the dangers of aforementioned creatures.

Its not as much the monkeys with the knives that are dangerous. Its the ones that don't have them anymore because the forgot to take them out of the person they just stabbed.

While they probably can't regulate a lot of the stuff that the library's public computers are used for there are often too many people that are only considerate to themselves.
