Current location: in a house that is a two minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean and adjoining beach. XD Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffyeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
(Current location of SO: three hours inland, due to homework that has to be done in the next week and a half. There needs to be a bittersweet thread.)
Edit: Increased awesome factor due to pagetopper!

Now: Scrambled egg with paprika, oregano, thyme and coarse black pepper.
Ten minutes: DRIVING LESSON. MY fucking God I love driving.
A few hours: A massive spliff and delicious munch with my buddies.
Tonight: Singing folk songs until stupid o'clock in the morning.

Today is an awesome one, all things considered.

I just signed a contract to buy a house! It was only the second place we looked at, and we weren't even really planning to buy just yet, but this place was exactly what we wanted... And we bought it at auction for $25,000 less than we were prepared to pay! The other bidders never even stood a chance.

Holy crap I'm going to own a house.

Grats on the uni front, all. Also, Whelan, 10 points is so close to nothing. It's one grade right? Unless the uni is one of the ones overwhelmed by offers or the admin people are being massive showercaps, you should get in.

Ah, good luck then!

In awesome thread news: I am going rowing with my new club again tonight! I went for the first time on Tuesday, and they were all really nice, and I am looking forward to going again tonight. Though I don't know if I'll be rowing or sculling...we all had to take singles out on Tuesday because the numbers didn't work for a crew. They gave me a kiddie one that's basically impossible to capsize since I've never sculled before, but said they reckon I'd be fine in a normal one next time...so I'm not sure if I want that or not! Definitely somewhat convinced I am going to capsize the first time I go out in a proper single...

Finally, after all these years...

And yep, we've already got a list of improvements we want to make. Mostly outside stuff like adding solar panels and fixing fences though. Thankfully no painting!

So, while browsing on Youtube for cool videos to kill time while I am insomnia-stricken, I typed "world war" into the search bar.

The first auto-correct choice was "world war z."

Awesome.

Moving out day! Time to leave the comfort of my family for new adventures!

I'll live temporarily with my mother's new husband's brother's wife's mother's cousin for the first two weeks until I get access to my apartment in September.
Since I have a peculiar tendency forgetting being hungry, I'll have to set up some routines.

First day of University on Monday!!

Wish me luck!

Awesome: I currently do not have access to a computer or laptop, but I can still post here thanks to the wonderful power of my phone.

More awesome: I'm at Ayacon. People here have fantastic cosplays, there are shineys for sale in the dealer's room, and it's being held at the university I used to attend so I get to binge on nostalgia.

Less awesome was last night when some fatuous little twerp was outside my dorm block at half 3 in the morning shouting "GIRUGAMESH" over and over again to the apparent amusement of his female companion. I wish I'd had a brick I could have thrown at his head.

Roads are awesome, you just follow them and get where you want to go. They even have signs on to tell you witch one to take. Even in forests you get paths. Its so neat.
