Huh. Turns out DEVO has done new stuff. I'm pleasantly surprised. Though DEVO without the raging '80s-ness is scary and alarming.

I don't get it. I probably don't know enough about the Batman mythos.
EDIT: Hypothesis one : this is only tangentially inspired by the imagery of Batman and to interpret it you need to udnerstand a set of cultural conventions the author based this on.
Hypothesis two : this is a modern realistic interpretation and a deconstruction of the juvenile fantasies that Batman represents, with which I am not well acquainted, thus my confusion.
Or some combination of the two.

Hmmm, this reminds me more of Les Misérables than Batman... maybe because of the French. It is a tad reminiscent of some scenes from Batman Begins.

I would think so, because several things were familiar to me, which may not be to you.

(I didn't notice anything related to Les Misérables).

I don't know how many of you make your own videos for Youtube, but I found a contest that is accepting entries for holiday parodies... not trying to spam by the way, just thought some of you might be interested. All you have to do is reply in their comment section with a link to a video you made yourself. Six days left to enter though. http://www.classesandcareers.com/colleg ... test-2009/

Alert Alert

rnew has officially ventured into the world of YouTube. Clicky Clicky

Its entirely possible the video hasn't finished processing yet, but it should have done by now.

So yeah, subscribe to hear me natter on about nothing in a posh English accent every now and then.

(And sarcasticy comments are rather left to here/PM then on the video. Not that I think anyone here would do that, but just making sure. Cheers)

There were several reasons for me starting this.
1. Boredom
2. Experimentation
3. Procrastination*
4. My dad complaining he doesn't hear about what I get up to at university enough**

We'll see how long it lasts before I run out of things to say/realise I have a lot of work to do.

*Mainly this, I have an awful lot of work to do
**OK not so much this, he wanted more of work, and less of me blabbering on about nothing.
