Except in this version, the prisoners actually did eat her brains.

When they all stand up, and are like "time to call Captain Academic", they didn't sound all that enthusiastic.

But the "you shall not pass" was a goo one.

Someone camcorder'd a Leno clip of a 4-year-old's 9-1-1 call. Under the category of kids say (and do) the darndest things. (Wait for the mother at the end)

I saw this too:

What they never state in this clips is how many people they had to ask to get those answers. But those are rather dumb people...

For those that don't know, that clip is from The Chaser. I went to a filming a few years ago, and during a brief break they were asked about it (not in relation to this specific clip, but in general about those segments). They answered that they go through far less people than you'd hope, and very few people get left on the cutting room floor for being too smart.

Yeah, I heard that after Rick Mercer did his hour-long "Talking to Americans" show, all of the US networks sent people up to Canada to try to get back at us for making fun of them--only they couldn't get stupid answers out of the Canadians, because we are very aware of their culture, politics, etc.

Here's a clip of my brother and I (among others) performing a sketch at the recent Williams Syndrome of Ireland Music & Activity Camp last month.

Linky.

EDIT TO ADD - I'm watching the first episode of Richard Dawkins' recent documentary Enemies of Reason. That link is the first of five sections on Youtube; the other four can be found in the 'Related Videos' sidebar.

Further edit - (for fuck's sake, I should go to bed...) I think this may well be the coolest thing I have ever seen - the mentalest, most batshit domino stylings EVAR!

Here are a couple I found earlier that I saved to share with y'all:

Very very very neat intelligent photo resizing application demo video (collegehumor.com, flash)

Amusing commercial called "If Only Everyone Saw You Like Your Dog Does" (yourdailymedia.com, wmv)

Awesomecool Lego Robotic Assembly Line builds little lego cars to order

Japanese video of an American diving from 10.7m into a foot of water (yourdailymedia.com, wmv). The video, which is making its rounds on the video sites, isn't all that interesting. But what I do find interesting is that it's an US guy on a Japanese show. Perhaps we're all wrong with these crazy japanese (game) shows. Maybe the craziness is less about the people and what they are doing, and more about the presentation: that they have people in suits watching, and they insist on showing these people's reactions. Plus the big text written everywhere like the whole world was a frickin' pop-up-video. Definitely food for thought.

Lastly, 70's Finnish YMCA (collegehumor.com, flash). The caption says it all: "It's tough to out-gay the village people, but these people come close."
