Such silliness.
This song was in The Air, at one time.
Like the Big Butt song was in The Air.

Every Campfire had this song sung.
It was not always sung well.

It was the sound of Human Voices.

I asked Questions. Didn't You?

I did not always ask Questions.
Sometimes The People had a system.

The Old Man would start the Story.
Then other people would ask questions.

It's the first video I've made that isn't about Kerbal Space Program, though it is pretty much ripping off another video which is. Still, I'm pretty proud of this one - it's a montage of films and animations from the history of human spaceflight, backed by an epic track.

"Show Me."

Dang. We had a national Debt of 4 million dollars.
That was Big Money. My relationship to that 4 million dollars is Funny.

It is not fun to sit around giggling all by my self. Who Cares?
Four Million Dollars.

The discussions of, "Running Some Debt is Good For The Nation because it it Good For (?) oh, The Economy and The World."

Still; Four Million Dollars was a lot of Money.
I am the only person that can Remember that.

It never Happened.
There was Never a Day when Elementary and Jr. High Schools and (shrug.) Whole Towns would gather One Million Bottle Tops.
That was a Lot of Bottle Tops. It was doable. I don't remember how long it took. There Were Races. Then Cooperations.

"Hey! Your Team has nearly Half. My Team has nearly Half. We are Almost Done!"

Then the negotiations begin. Where will we have The Party?
Your House. No, Your House. Crap. Who won?

Solomon to the Rescue. Have the Party at The State's House.
The Mayor and The Town Reporter and All The Students would Do a Public, "Will You Look At That?"

The people that Organized those Projects were, kind of, tired of those Bottle Tops by the time the Party Rolled Around.
It was like some people are when they are Pregnant. Some people get so tired of being Pregnant they lose interest in The Whole Thing.

The Party is Like Labor and Delivery.
It is enough to Spark interest in The Subject, again.

The Parties. One Million Pop Tops.
Those people were having Fun.

The Gathering of Pop Tops was a large Project.
It sometimes exceeded the Life Span of Its Creators.

One million was DOABLE.
Trillion? pfft. I give.

Like the sound of Human Laughter.
I have learned it is not always Sweetness and Light.

That stupid Dog is Sweetness and Light.

I prefer the Russian one, it feeds into my inner Russophile. If I was still a romantic I would think it was fate. But no, just a lucky coincidence.

Trust me, they hurt. Ever been bitten by an anole? They can draw blood with only a head as big as an almond. The frog's head was a big as a walnut.

Can you say Phenomena?

It is a word some people hear a lot.
Even an Expert can screw it up.

Children sometimes hear it and it becomes The New Word.
manamanamaaaa. If you have a Little Kid or Can Barrow one.

Tell it about something in its environment.
Then say, "Its a Phenomena."

Now; Ask the Child to tell you what it is.
Mamanamaamna.

Just like Sesame Street! mamama!

Does the work stand on its own?
Yes. The artist is like the artichoke leaf.

The artist is a carrier of the yummy stuff.
The way the artichoke leaf carries dip.

The music of Beethoven is unique to each musician.
Ode To Joy has great meaning to me.

It still makes me smile. So, funny.

I don't care who wrote it.
When we were given sheets of paper with notes on them it was a race to choose the simplest one.

I was the second person to choose.
We each had to destroy a different piece of music.

The instructor was not stupid.
She knew what Hell it is to sit through Recitals.

She may have amused herself by guessing what music we were destroying.
It was very stressful for me. She was a good instructor.

She taught us to make mistakes and keep going.
That is not easy for some of us.

We are like Deer. We Startle and Stop.
Then, Run!

She taught us to not Startle and Stop.
So; Running was never an option.

We were all science and business majors.
We were in unfamiliar territory.
