Until just this moment, I had never thought to use "dynamic" as an adjective regarding hair. Thank you for expanding my network of linguistic connections. :D

the lead guitarist is actually pretty fierce, too. he and i kind of run the band, the rest of them are just musicians. for being a bunch of old white guys, though, they're pretty hard-rockin'.

ninjacore, we're a cover band. we play the bar scene, and we play a lot of hard rock/alternative/grunge/powerpop, with a little bit of classic rock and a dash of 1980s pop. the band is called faultline (as seen on the t-shirts and banner behind us).

are we talking portland, oregon, or portland, indiana? because if it's the latter, i'm sure something could be arranged, as that's where the lead guitarist is from. you probably mean portland, oregon, though.

also, for what it's worth, if any xkcdians are from indiana or the surrounding area, hit me up, i'd love to get some of you out to a show sometime.

 thank you. Though I feel being attracted to girls with low self esteem could lead to some sort of complex. And if it makes *you* feel any better, I am also skinny and look young (How old are you, btw? Cuz I can't tell if you look young or not without knowing your age ). However, I don't have a problem with people thinking I'm the younger one, as my brother is 26. Also, some girls (such as myself) prefer the scrawny type over the brawny type. Just as some girls prefer their guys to have muscle etc etc.

I'm actually 22 yrs old, and I'm not as short as my bro makes me look(I'm 6 1/2 ft.) He's just tall dude.
I just have a young looking face. Angelene assumed I was 16 :| (I was going to correct you guys earlier, but eh whatever.) It's all good though because I know it will totally work in my favor when I'm older.
All my confidence issues are mostly long gone though and the reason I like girls that have low self esteem, is because I can sympathize with the feeling. Although any girl thats REALLY unsure is a turn off. Since I moved from home and started my own life I've changed a lot.
I don't have a specific preference for girls bodies, I like skinny girls and curvy girls all the same :D My first GF was really skinny and tall and my last one was shorter and had more curves. They were both awesome but it didn't work out for me. I'm single now and happy with it. :)

I could branch off on plenty of tangents here and type aimlessly so I better sto pmyself now :)

ninjadude, the 16 was more of a reference to past experiences here where I've commented on how handsome a young man might be to have him say "Thanks! and I'm only 15/16/17!" ya'll grow up so fast nowadays. and there's nothing wrong with having a youthful appearance. I, btw, far prefer the short hair, shows off your face, there's nothing there you should want to hide.
