Yes, but the shrubberies aren't overly violent. Typical level of aggressiveness for flora, I'd say. I just happened to be hurtling toward its trunk at 15mph. I hold no grudges against it for defending itself.

Finally found a recent-ish pic of me, kind of. The original had a bunch of family members in it and was rather small, so please to pardon the distortion. (I rather like how this makes me look somehow exotic, rather than just pasty and boring.)
