It's just paint. But since the glasses are plastic, I could probably take a hobby knife to them and score the crack detail into the lens if I wanted to.

I like this new one, actually. Yeah you have sunglasses but you look like you're just chillin' having a great time, and are a really cool person to meet. Like, if I had been there, I totally would have come over and said "Hi, I'm Amy!" and given you a hug. You just seem that approachable and kind in it.

Your avatar is nice, but you seem kinda shy in it, and I just like the look of the other one better.

Wee! My lab went to Sinbad's for lunch (neat place on the Detroit river). We walked out on the pier afterwords. Excuse the poor camera phone photos. It is a bright and sunny day, a balmy 70 degrees F, breeze off the river. Slight chill but oh so warm in the sun.

Spoiler:
Looking across at Belle Isle.
Image

Downriver...you can see the Ambassador bridge (goes to Canada) in the distance, not the short bridge in front, it's behind that. Actually, in this small size all you can see is the spike up, you can't see the cables well. Oh well.

Upriver...

Oh yeah, and face! Duh. Well...do feet dangling over water work? I even got splinters from it because I was stupid and ran my hand a bit across the dock when I sat on it. Let me tell you... scientist (my adviser) + lab tools (various tweezer-esque instruments, microscope, etc) + human subject (me) = hilarious

I'm thinking I will have to go through my collection of fonts at work in the morning (I have a -lot- of fonts. I spend my days writing printer drivers, and I'm apparently the 'font guy' so I have accumulated a ridiculous number of them).

I have one or two ideas off-hand. Is it supposed to be a common font?

Also, that is really cool idea for a party.

Another confession: I'm in the wrong thread.
