I'll assume this is because I generally assume that everyone is male, unless it's very obvious that they're not. This usually works out fine. While that might work elsewhere... yeah.

Here, unless someone specifically refers to their genitals and/or gives themselves a gender label, it's.. probably best to assume they're human and leave it at that. There's probably a few people here who don't even self-identify as human, but ... we can pretty much let that one slide for now.

Later, though.. when people start converting themselves to nanobot clouds or dolphins or whatever, then we'll have to drop the human assumption.

So... yeah, unless you're interested in having sex with someone or are trying to get some advice that requires a particular gender/sexuality/sex to answer or something, try not to worry about their gender/sex/sexuality. It's not important.

But there's a difference between assuming everyone is male, and just treating everyone the same regardless of gender. The former is what you say you do, and the latter is what would be ideal.

It worked for me too!

First time kayaking! It was a lot of fun, especially since we found the perfect location: Finger Lakes, MO. A series of very thin lakes, so it's the illusion of being on a river, but there's no current.

I have one problem with one person on this page, and that is the person that is holding the Nerf Maverick. He's using his middle finger on the trigger which just looks awkward, and is not pointing it with confidence at all. How does he expect to intimidate anyone like that?

Double-yay for Jess' excellent haircut. If I weren't so attached to my Rapunzel hair, that is exactly what I'd do.

I think black definitely likes you. Not only is that top in the first picture amazing (where did you get it? NO WAIT! Don't tell me. I have no money for pretty things) but you also look a lot like PJ Harvey.

I've been thinking that i'm going to try and make most of my autumn/winter wardrobe black, through thifty charity shop ways. Leggings, long black tight jumpers and my big black Doc Martens. Sleek, sexy and black.

My webcam software. I have a webcam overlooking (when i can be bothered to turn it on) my desk. I didn't feel like running upstairs for my good camera at 10.15 last night. Oh, 'll also point out that the 'Hi xkcd' message on my handheld had to be written backwards, because for some reason my webcam mirrors everything. :P

ohmygoodness did you just happen to know ms harvey is my very favourite person in the whole wide world? thanks tin!

black always looks more expensive i think, and it's an allround classic, i especially love adding colour with shoes, jewelery, bags or nails (neon pink today)

If the webcam is anything like my one, there's an option for flipping it horizontally to normal. I tried it for a little while, but the backwards version of me really freaks me out.

Also, I think everyone involved here is cute.

There's also a Manly rugby side.

Edit: Maybe someone can clear this up for me. Previously, I only knew "bangs" as a euphemism for "breasts". Obviously, I've worked out that, in America, it has something to do with hair. I thought I had it worked out, but the pictures Lord Aurora posted suggest that they aren't what I thought they were. Can someone clear this up for me?
