Awesome photos (and I doubt I'd have the guts to go down in a cave unless it has a guided tour...)

It was pretty amazing, and we managed to get all 5 of us in (though it was very cosy). Unfortunately it was destroyed a few hours later. :(

You look....a lot like I would have imagined, except somewhat younger (and more tired, in this case). That's probably a good thing, overall.

Also, is that a Halo helmet on the shelf behind you? Did you serve with the UNSC?

I have been told that I look young, for 30. Probably a side effect of my training.

That is indeed a Spartan helmet. I was deployed for cleanup on Reach, Harvest, the Onyx complex, and was one of the first responders to the New Mombasa incident.

I remember seeing the Zoidberg costume avatar and suit-and-ski-mask-guy avatar, but did not know until now that they were the same guy.

My face was on local TV this week for a split second. A newsmagazine show did an episode on steampunk, which included footage of the band Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys. I'm in a brief crowd shot at 1:29 into Segment 3. I'm the guy in glasses with my elbows on the table on the far right in the screen cap below. I've known a few forumites into steampunk; if you're intested in the whole thing, here's Segment 1, Segment 2 and Segment 4.

Both impulse and Sly have dapper scarves and Oregonaut has a brilliant wooly-looking hat. I am very much in favour of the winter theme on this page.
It was raining earlier, I bought a beret. Picture also includes new, daintier glasses:

Well the scarf is because my flat is very very cold, even with the heating on. And the cosplay avatars are holding cameras because I was taking pictures of myself in my bathroom mirror. It kind of works for the Spy costume though, it looks like some kind of random technological widget the Spy might carry.

For some reason, I always pictured you with a beard. I dunno why. Maybe because most of the more awesome males I've known have had beards.

Anyway, when I am on a computer with pictures of me, I will post them.

The bayonet throws off the sights/aim depending on the weight of the bayonet/length of gun/range of target/etc.

as long as you're in an enclosed area or expecting close quarters combat then you're good to go. Otherwise affix if you're out of ammo and unable to find resupply.
