Was the picture meant to be that small? Or did you accidentally upload a thumbnail instead of the full-size picture?

good question, Zarq.

I can try to upload a bigger picture later, but I'm in a rush to pack and have a job interview.

It's made precarious by my method of hopping from rock to rock faster than most people run. :) A lot of places where I was running amok were easily as dangerous as that looks, but that spot wasn't quite so bad. My brother was perched on eh "highest point" marker for the pic.

I don't really post in this thread often (although I do read it from time to time, you gorgeous people!), but I was particularly proud of Boy's face-painting skills when we went to an Alice in Wonderland party on the weekend. He went as the Knave of Hearts and I decided to go as the white rabbit, and as he's the artistic one he did my face for me. Oh and I DO have a pocket watch there! It's just facing the wrong way. Though ah, yeh, I'm wearing a purse in those photos...

I was at another forum before where heroic was easily one of the most overused thread title words. Mostly used ironically though, like in "Heroic man attempts robbery, stabs himself in the thigh"/"Heroic senator caught doing x"/"Heroic $noun is heroic" and similar. Heroic got less heroic after that.

I would like to concur with the diagnosis of heroic hair.

Also, an interesting thing I note. Almost all the girls have short dresses. Here in CT, long dresses are the norm. I'm curious if it's a cultural or climate thing.

In-and-around Seattle 1986, when I graduated, it was all long dresses all the time (more or less). The major choice to make was "plain satin or lace?" (I chose lace. It looks like a fairy dress now, skulking in the back of my closet. >.>)

eta: this could totally be a regional fashion-meme thing. Teenagers People regularly operate at that level, after all. With the possible exception of folks with heroic wise hair, that is.
