Crowdsurfing on a boogie board in a toolshed. For reference, I'm 6'6, and the ceiling was roughly a foot above my head.

I suppose I could post a picture or two of me up here in Alaska.

This is me and a friend on the deck in front of the lodge where we work. (me on the right, of course)

And yes, that is the view from where I work - and live - for four and a half months. The neaerest town is 20 miles away (and 300 people). The nearest town bigger then that is an hour away. Along the *one road* there is. Link for remoteness

I'm working as a waiter, 44-50 hours a week, six days a week. Making 25+ an hour, $450 a month living expenses. No sugar momma needed.

Hmmmm....so what about the other half of the year?
That's a good bit of cash (especially since it's waiting tables...ie you don't always have to claim everything for income tax and it's Alaska where there aren't that many taxes anyways...)
I've met a few people that were ski/ snow board instructors in the winter and had similar gigs during the summer.

I don't know.
I like this town though. I don't think i'm ready to move yet. (i tend to move ever couple of years....damn nomad...)

Awards indeed. I've been involved with canine sports for a good few years now and have two champion dogs at home. Though I've done everything from hunting to obedience, agility to S&R with them, the awards in the picture are mostly from conformation shows. Used to have half my room cluttered with rosettes, plaques and a number of trophies, but now my mother just hangs up the Champion titles/Best in Show/Group placings in our family home. :]

Heh. That reminds me of what my friend says. If you're directing him while he's driving and say "Just go straight", he'll always reply "I tried, doesn't work" or some variation on that.

I have a golden retriever who's an Estonian Junior Champion, has his certificates for Estonian and Latvian Championships but sadly I think I can never pass the working test with him, since the need for one popped up just as he got two years old and he had never seen a duck in his life.

I also have a flatcoated retriever, who I adore to pieces! He's a Baltic Junior Champion as well as a Baltic Champion and is waiting on his last CACIB for his International title. He's from working lines, does a lot of hunting back home with my mother and is the chosen dog for our 'celebrity pheasant hunt' things there.

http://adencourt.mercurial.pri.ee for an awfully outdated site, only the Estonian part is somewhat up to date. :]

I've also finished a fair bit of champions, having several Bobtails, Do-khyis and English Bulldogs to my name, as well as several other breeds. Don't mean to brag or anything, but I generally enjoy the sport. :> Wish I could do agility more but my flattie has some health issues that put me off of it. These days I mostly work as a ring steward.

Oh, and mods, if this is too much (in quantity, naturally ;)) off-topic, feel free to split into another post. I'm very sorry if I derailed the topic!
