He looks kind of like a slimmer Jensen Ackles with a different color scheme.

Hmmm, maybe a wee bit, but I think he's actually more attractive, Jensen is a bit too Abercrombie pour moi, Jacque looks more couture.

I hope argyl doesn't object to her man being studied so.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, I have been told a couple times that I should. I haven't been without facial hair for more than a month in five and a half years. I am hesitant because I no longer know what I will look like without it.

Agreed.

My friend did this a couple weeks ago. I've only ever known him with a full beard. After he shaved it all off, I'm not what was more awkward: the open-mouthed gaping, or the fact that I had to poke his cheeks a couple times to confirm this was not an illusion.

No no no, it's the Contra Bass Saxophone that is the king of them all. Once the instrument gets bigger than you, and can go just about as low as a piano, then I can crown it as "awesome".

Also, Altos I feel are better, as I've been playing the Tenor for a year and a half, and still don't care for it that much.

I played Tenor in high school. I still like it better than the other two that my school had (alto and baritone). The alto is too high for my liking, and the baritone too heavy. Also me from last night (the hat isn't mine, but it is cool)

bari is quite fun to play.

I prefer my tenor, though. Bari is just too big and awkward. Tenor has a good balance of (imo) sounding better than alto, while still being a somewhat practical instrument to have.

well, i guess it's a saxophone thread now. I must agree with Erasmus. the tenor can get decently high and pretty low, like this:

although i would like to try the other types. Barry seems most likely, as we do have a barry, and i thinkl he's a senior this year. may be an open spot in the band.

Videogamesizzle, while that is the correct range for a tenor saxophone, it actually sound a Major 9th lower, making it from a first space Ab on the bass clef to a 4th space Treble Eb.

Also, saxophone.
