"Geocentrism" Prediction for #792

Postby myrcutio » Sun Sep 12, 2010 8:32 pm UTC

Given the trend of recent events and Slashdot articles, I predict that the next article by Randall will be on the subject of geocentrism, in reaction to the farcical convention being held on the topic. In the case that I'm right, i claim f1r5t p0s7. Apologies to all geocentrists and Terry Jones, there will be juice and cake afterwards so there's no hard feelings.

I was just looking at that. Be wary of anyone pushing scientific knowledge that must be purchased before it can be debated. Their website just.... kinda reminds me of the time cube.

EARTH HAS 4 CORNER
SIMULTANEOUS 4-DAY
TIME CUBE
IN ONLY 24 HOUR ROTATION.
4 CORNER DAYS, CUBES 4 QUAD EARTH- No 1 Day God.

This fellow in the Slashdot thread about this conference suggested that "geometrically speaking you probably can take the earth as fixed and the universe revolving around it, and all the phenomenons like wind, coriolis acceleration and stuff should hold anyway".

My response? "Do you really expect me to do coordinate substitution in my head while stuck to a spinning ball of rock hurling through space around a gigantic thermonuclear reaction?"

I'm really hoping he retorts "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!" :D
