Nope, you're still off by two letters, unless my codons/abbreviations are incorrect. (That's possible - rather than get up and open a book, I just went with the first table Google gave me.)

Umm, to others - hi, again. I really didn't intend to hijack the introductions with inane DNA speak. (I only do that when I'm at bars surrounded by guys I'm not that interested in.)

*shrugs* Biochemistry hasn't been my strongest subject this semester; I will be the first to admit that! Welcome to the forums, anyway :P This thread is designed to go off on random tangents, really, so don't worry about disrupting things - someone else will join and it'll all be disrupted again, I am sure.

Sheeesh! I had no idea my copy of GIMP and I would make such a splash. Been hanging out with my graphics programmer partner for too long, I guess. He just pats me on the head and goes back to rendering gorgeous things like this:

Thats pretty cool heh :)

Since this thread has 3D stuff in it now I will take this chance to shove in my recent stuff, without shame cause I like people saying it's cool. And have nothing else to post about. Testing out gallery2 also :P theres an A3 sized version of the guitar there. Sometime I'm going to make a poster out of that, and stick it on my wall. (You can stick your own art on the wall, right...?)

EDIT:

Never mind... Shouldn't have posted that really. Its still in my gallery if you wanna look, but it doesn't really belong in the intro thread so much. ugh. I feel like a dirty attempted show off or something... Sugar supplies were confiscated cant think properly :P

27/M/Georgia, US

I live in west Georgia with three cats and one dog. I work for a civil engineering firm as an administrative assistant to one of the satellite offices. I like computers a bit, mostly for Internets and to play a few games on, some I need to reinstall. My 5-year-old Dell borked on me a few times in the past (I have XP...so sue me) so I've been lazy reinstalling some of the games, and others had to be deleted to make room for other software, such as an audio program I used to use to rip vinyl onto CDs.

I'm also into the paranormal. No, I'm not a Goth, or an Emo, or anything like that. I've been interested in the paranormal since I was a kid. My forte is ghosts and hauntings. I post to a couple of ghost-related message boards, and have even done a few investigations. Trying to get back into it after having been on "hiatus" for several months.

I discovered the site through Neal Boortz's website, when he posted the Snopes comic.

That's about it for now. I don't want to bore anybody here to death. I saw the recipe thread earlier. I've got a few recipes I may post, all dealing with the crock pot. If most of the membership here are college students, if you don't have a crock pot, you should get one. They're not just for soups and stews, even though most of the recipes I'll post are those. Talk to y'all later.

Since when did being emo have anything to do with the paranormal?

Anyway, welcome to the fora, and enjoy your stay.

Heh, good guess, warriorness. You're right, it is CCZ. I had a good laugh to myself when I found out that you were a fairly active member of this community.

I intend on using this place (along with IIDB) as an escape of sorts for when LL gets to be too much for my fragile psyche.

I am Second Talon. My chair-keyboard interface device is 27 Earth Revolutions and some change. I was linked here a couple of months ago by a co-worker saying that he thought the comic linked was something similar to what I've said in the past.

The comic? A hatguy classic.

The only way I can see that happening is through creating a new account with different capitalization. However, it won't create a new one unless there is more than just that different from an existing name (i.e. I created LuigiManiac but gave some random e-mail address, so I went to make Luigimaniac, and it wouldn't go through).

EDIT 1: Also, welcome Windwielder. Hope we're not too weird for you.

EDIT 2: Okay, I was wrong, which means my only valid comment of any worth is EDIT 1.

So you've neglected to say, are you male or female? That's always a good question here. *Some* people get testy when you mess up their genders.

Hot pink is the manliest color in existence. You're only fooling yourself in saying it's not.

All I'm saying is that if you're gonna convince yourself THAT MUCH one way or another regarding my gender, then I'm not gonna stop you. I'll be whatever gender you want me to be, as far as you know.
