Well you only have six months to get ready for it, so you better think fast.
I don't know what to do for you

perhaps comic 1000 will simply be a sequel to comic 500 in which the MC google searches "2012 polling statistics" since by comic 1000 it will be 2012.

Ugh, remember all those thread about how randall was going to make a big deal of 666? And then all the threads asking why he didn't make a big deal of 666?

Yes, he did appear in 666. But not in 729 where you said he was in your last post.

Halts the comic at nine hundred ninety-nine for one week. Lets the forums (that he never reads) sprout threads about it like dandelions. Returns and posts comic one thousand. Is a repost of comic number eight. Spawns further threads about comics one thousand one, one thousand ten, one thousand eleven, and so on. Begins a trend of pre-emptive "Get out of my head, Randall"s. Spills over to goombas, proving their existence. Sparks a counter meme of "Wahoo!"s in Morgan Freeman’s voice. Creates a massive demand for mushrooms and flowers. Diverts funding to space programs to drag a star back to Earth. Ends humanity.

Good comic.
Changes its form depending on the observer.

Everyone wears their favorite xkcd tshirt/garb. And hats from the comic. Perhaps...

Felstaff: For a drudging Thursday afternoon, that level of cuteness has really made my day. Can... Can I keep you?
