Hmm. I experience something similar sometimes which I tend to refer to as "the vertigo of being". Occasionally I become acutely aware that I am, and this creates a sense of terror which is not dissimilar to peering over the edge of a large precipice. I've never correlated this feeling particularly with feeling at ease, but it does tend to appear in moments of self-reflection, which normally require a certain amount of relaxation.

I feel like that all the time unless I'm really concentrating on something.
