Need to buy an Android phone today

As mine has apparently suffered some kind of random hardware fault. It suddenly rebooted itself, and won't ever boot up, just dies part way through. There's been no OS update, so a physical fault seems to be the issue - it's 3 years old now.

Anyway, any recommendations for a midrange phone, around £300, nothing fancy needed, just a decent battery and fairly regular 5-5.5ish inch screen, preferably as stock Android as possible? My last phone was a Nexus 5X as I was guaranteed to get updates from Google.

I went for a Motorola Moto G7 Power, if anyone is interested. £179 from Amazon, massive battery life, looks pretty solid. It has by far the lowest screen resolution of any phone you'll see today but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to notice, 271 ppi should be enough!
