I'm torn between Guitar hero and Rock Band, but I think I'm going to stick with Guitar Hero. I've found that consistently, Rock Band/Rock Band 2 tends to have the better track listing, while I've become incredibly accustomed to the guitar hero engine. I do have to say that the neat thing about Guitar hero 1, 2, and 3 on the PS2 is that you can hack them with custom songs, fretboards, menus, etc. Example with me playing Steve Vai's Tender Surrender: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G07Oy5gVT70

Gotta say that Guitar Hero 5 left a lot to be desired though. Aside from a few songs I just wasn't that impressed (Sultans of Swing ftw).
