So, here's something: Invade Earth A Java Risk-like, able to play online. EDIT: The download is, like, 3 kb. So not a very long download time.

Time for some fractal fun. its not flash or java or even really a game but cool nontheless, and needs to be made into a screen saver.

I played Age of Chaos for several years back in the day. It's a turn-based, text-heavy, multiplayer strategy. You accumulate turns every some number of minutes (used to be 1 turn per 50 minutes) and can play them at your convenience, or bank up to some number of turns to play in one session (used to be capped at 100 saved turns). A game lasts for over a month, and there used to be a few thousand empires running in each age, but it looks like they could use some new blood pretty badly.

It's got a bit of a steep learning curve, but like I said, I played it intently for several years and I doubt so much has changed since my day that I couldn't give some pointers. Will answer questions by PM if anyone's interested.

Oh, and I mention this because a new age (game) is starting up in a few days, so it's a good time to sign up, poke around a bit in Gildor (the perpetual game that never gets won, for newbies to learn in) and then make an empire in Age 49 when you decide what race you like, before turns start accumulating on Monday.

Just been Playing Lugaru, The Rabbit's Foot.

You play as an Anthropomorphised rabbit. The Controls are great and the combat is simple but very interesting.

It is also one of the most brutal games I've ever played. It's awesome.

I don't know if this should count, but I've been playing a lot over at www.iminlikewithyou.com . They have a few nifty games, from a variant of Bomberman using monkeys and water balloons, to a sort of Pictionary and even "Hamster Battle". Lots of fun. The graphics are really pretty, they have a "level" system (you play with gamers of all levels, but your profile has a level feature which ups when you earn points, sort of like RPGs), you can win medals, there's a chat feature and you get a sort of profile you can fill out.

Anyone know of any decent flash RTS games? I've played The Space Game to death, and am tired of tower defence games, I was hoping to find something like Age of Empires in flash or java but haven't found anything half decent yet. Suggestions welcome, free internets forthcoming.

I don't think I've has nearly enough coffee to play this properly. I got a sweet path going in level 3 which forced the enemies to cluster in the middle, but I can't figure out how to escape from the centre at the start of level 4.

Edit: ha, figured it out.

Edit2: On level 10, but I think this might be my limit...

Escaping the center is really hard. Once you get past that i tend to just push down-left. The thingies just end up at center while the cursor flies along the edges. >_<

I'd say Mastermind: World Conqueror may be what you're looking for. Give it a go and let us know how you like it. It's on the list on the first page too.

This is how I do it, aye - move from top centre to right centre, teleport to left centre and keep going for bottom centre. You'll loop, and the enemies will just cluster in the middle.
This got me to 11; I've been having real trouble escaping the middle in that one.
