Sex Feat Wonder

Postby BMP » Sat Jan 17, 2009 2:28 am UTC

I know this show's been on DVD for a while but I just watched the entire series and I have to say it was one of the best dramas I've ever seen on TV. Season 1 especially was one of the best seasons of tv I've ever seen, and there were several episodes where I had to hold back tears. (specifically when both Nate's died)

Season 2 was good but nowhere near as good as the first, Season 3 was better than season 2 and Season 4 was better than season 3, even if season 4 did get a little unbelievable at times. Season 5 was the best season since #1, and a close contender for best season. Mostly season 1 was awesome because although it was dramatic and sad, in the end it left you smiling. Season 5 did bring back the seamless drama/comedy that made season 1 so great, but the last episode, as good as it was, left more more depressed and thinking about my own death than it anything else.

Overall it was a kick ass tv show and everyone who enjoys tv should watch it. That's my review.

Brilliant show, and the ending of the final episode is one of the moving TV show moments I've ever seen. I always liked Ruth, and her constant efforts to keep everyone together.

Six Feet Under is my favorite show ever! I'm currently watching the episodes online because netflix takes too long. :D I've only gotten to the fourth episode of the third season, but I'm sort of confused
at how Nate just died but the show is apparently following an alternate reality.
It's hard to decide favorite characters because all of them are just so likeable.

I love this show, and I actually think that it's a bit underrated. Personally, I prefer season 5 to season 1, and to reiterate, holy fuck, the last episode is so good. The last scene was particularly depressing, though as much as I love it, it kind of reminds me of a car commercial.

Yeah, the worst part about it being so unappreciated is that it's really hard to find all in one place. However, if anyone wants to watch it all online for free, it's right here.

Huge thread necro, but just finished the series tonight, and had to come in to express my appreciation for it. Great show, so many excellent scenes and poignant moments.

And that ending. Possibly the best ending the show could have had, definitely one of the best ever. If you don't cry at least a little after watching the whole show and then that ending, than you should probably call 911, because you're missing a heart.

I agree, amazing series ending.
