But terrible Engrish is what makes the Japanese audio amazing. Plus that boils down to the Japanese accent, English voice actors messing up Japanese words comes down to pure stupidity, and ignorance.

Japanese voice actors are capable of being stupid and ignorant too you know.

That's a very nice piece. Too bad it wasn't used in the first season.

Edit: This made me look at the S1 OST. This is one of the tracks that stand out to me.

Even though in the Japanese language words like basketball, drill, and television are spelled (note: spelled) basukettobōru, doriru, and terebijon. So don't go copping out their side as ignorance.

What we're trying to say is that no-one understands Evangelion due to it's very nature. Gainax made it so that people like us will try to glean some kind meaning from it, and every iteration they make is just to confuse us even more so that they can laugh at our confusion.

Rebuild is amazing! But it's still highly confusing up until the end of 2.22, mostly because everyone has a slight semblance of happiness... up until Gendo f***s everything up.

Nice. Electro-symphonic suits that series very well.

Not just rebuild. In every iteration they do they change the story. No exceptions. And the original series might even be the least confounded.

But the montage up to the POSITRON RIFLE in 1.11 is goddamn amazing. A. Mountain. Melts.
Even with the cg it's better than the original. It makes sense that a pan-dimensional being would appear in 3d.

That's nuthin'. I read 7000 pages (35 volumes, each >200 pgs) o' Berserk manga in less than a week. :)
I cant stop.

It is kind of like watching a car crash in slow motion through a satellite.

You know you should look away, because it is only going to get worse, but you can't imagine how it could get worse, and if you look away you may miss the penguin in a top hat doing a softshoe number explaining that this is all just a pretend car wreck and everyone's really fine.

So, just wondering, what will happen to EVA-07?

Spoiler:
EVA-00 got eaten by an Angel
EVA-01 ate said Angel and became something else all together, until it was impaled at the last few seconds of 2:22
EVA-02 went controlled berserk and was badly damaged by said Angel
EVA-03 was infected and destroyed by the dummy plug system
EVA-04 asploded
EVA-05 self-destructed to destroy the skeleton (3rd?) Angel
EVA-06 descended from the heavens to impale Rei/Angel/Shinji/01 (piloted by an Angel...)
EVA-07 profit??
EVA-08 appeared in the preview
Mass produced EVAs, will there be any?

Blegh, now I have to wait for 3:33. Any idea when it's coming out?

I'm also a big fan of Evangelion, actually.....
