I really do read books, I promise, but TV characters seem to make for the best crush material. Ephraim from Everwood, Byrd from Huff, and especially Adam Rove from Joan of Arcadia were my progressive TV boyfriends.

Every male character from Buffy, to varying extents (I feel dirty).

And lately, Jim from The Office. Why do all the nice boys live inside the TV?

(Also, Gargoyles are kind of sexy. I wasn't going to mention it, but then I saw Jauss's icon.)

River Tam.
None of my friends agree, but c'mon, how could I not after the end of Serenity? And Summer Glau looks amazing in that new Terminator thing.

Buffy a bit when I was younger, but got put off by the later seasons... ugh.

Okay, I'm not even going to lie, I just watched and rewatched the end of last night's CSI (had it taped) and started crying a bit at Sara's letter of goodbye. I am going to miss her character fo' rly.

Robert Sean Leonard in Dead Poet's Society
Westley in The Princess Diaries
Almost every male character in Love, Actually (especially Colin Firth's and Martin Freeman's)

Julian Rhind-Tutt as Mac in Green Wing. I brought my Green Wing DVD's to a friend's house and she liked him after a couple of episodes too. I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't (though I've admittedly met very few people who know what Green Wing is).

I <3 Green Wing so so so much. Mac and Guy's banter is magic.

Green Wing is the most amazing show ever. At first I really did think Guy was an ass, but I found myself loving him more and more. They're all awesome.

Even though I know I shouldn't, Johnny Depp in the Libertine is pure sex. Up until the syphilis bit anyway.

I think it's when you see his genuine unrequited love for Caroline that you realise that everything else is a sheer pretense and deep down he's a decent guy.

Ah, and Johnny Depp is marvelous in The Libertine...he's sheer sex in pretty much everything he does, anyway.

Anyone who does not love Hiro Nakamura has no soul. Besides having the best power, he also has the most developed plot arc, excluding Claire Bennett. He also uttered the famous line, "save the cheerleader, save the world."
Also, @Belial, your taste in characters is impeccable.

Also, Ginny from Harry Potter. Her character is almost perfect (not in the "holy shit she's gorgeous" way, though she is good looking. *wink wink nudge nudge*)

No.

I'm supprised no-one has mentioned Zev from Lexx yet. Considering the whole point of her character was to be a nyphomaniac supermodel...

Not that I do anyway.

I don't blame the guy earlier who said Pam from The Office. I've been in the exact same situation as Jim and didn't go for it (i.e. long engagement to a douchebag that she ended up marrying). I'm still kicking myself. Makes the show a tad painful to watch but I still love it.

An old girlfriend of mine started calling me puppy after reading that book. In hindsight, we were both retarded.

I have a total crush on Arwen from LotR. I don't even think Liv Tyler is that hot, but as Arwen... Mhm.

I would go gay for Aragorn and Faramir.

Evey from V for Vendetta. Also Valerie from same movie.

Oh, I have a crush on Emma Watson as Hermione, but it's one of those 'if I was also that age I know I would totally be in love with her' deals. Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets those?

That's all I can think of.

Shane from The L Word
Jess from Gilmore Girls (up untill he left Rory without notice, bad boy! :( )
The young boy in Notes On A Scandal

Oh and Peter Petrelli, but I only like his looks and his powers, not his "personality". Hiro on the other hand (not future Hiro) is adorable:D

I'll throw another one in for Pam Beesly from the Office (U.S.), but mostly because she's been jerked around so much and she deserves better.

Ana Pascal from Stranger Than Fiction. I can't quite say what it is, specifically, but definitely Ana the Baker.

I'll also admit to having a bit of a man-crush on Lloyd Dobler. The man's untouchable.
I have nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion.
And some old pictures.

Oh I tend to fall in love with any character of Maggie G's...I adored her Lee, of course. But not as much as Spader's Edward E. Grey.

When I was younger- Captain Picard.
Officer John "Sully" Sullivan from Third Watch - I very underrated show which I find very few people remember, sadly. Extremely well-written show and very good character. The actor is great, as well. He did some small cameos in OZ which were very good as well.
House is kinda redundant to mention.
Colonel Tigh from Battlestar Galactica. He's one kick-ass old man.

Could easily fall in love with:
-Roy Mustang from FullMetal Alchemist
-Jack Bauer
-The Doctor
-Han Solo

Otherwise pretty hot:
-Deidara from Naruto
-Aragorn
-Legolas
-Peter Petrelli
-Sylar
-Char from Mobile Suit Gundam
-Hidan from Naruto
-L from Death Note
-Dark from DNAngel

Would consider changing orientation for:
-Chloe O'Brian
-Hermione

A quick glance over that showed them all but one (from the guys that is) to be from either sci-fi, fantasy, or anime or both or all three. Still geeky. Good. xD
