Winnie the Pooh song melody origins?

I was recently watching some silly Christmas romcom Netflix original movie with my girlfriend, and a bit of incidental music played in a scene that I could swear was the exact same melody to which the lines "Deep in the hundred acre wood / where Christopher Robin Plays / you'll find the enchanted neighborhood / of Christopher's childhood days" are sung in the Winnie the Pooh theme song. That then makes me wonder if that melody is perhaps something much older than Winnie the Pooh, maybe a traditional Christmas song? But I've been unable to find anyone else making a similar observation on Google, so I'm turning to you now. Anybody else recognize that melody from anywhere else?

It sort of sounds like the American tune for It Came Upon the Midnight Clear. (According to Wikipedia, there are two different tunes commonly used for this song.)

Any chance of your remembering the name of the silly Christmas romcom Netflix original movie?

I think it was "The Princess Switch".

And yeah, I'm pretty sure the music I heard was actually "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear"/"Carol". That's a really close match. Thanks!
