I realize this is a double post, and a mod can send me to the gallows should he/she see fit.

But i just got my proverbial hands on a nice piece of Late-Era Thrash, a particular album i've been trying to get a hold of for the past 7 or 8 years.

The Music of Erich Zann by Mekon Delta (yep the entire album)

i should've been to bed 25 minutes ago but i can't sleep till i've listened to this album. Interludium and I, King, Will Come have been my favorite tracks thusfar.

I'm a sucker for anything with a genuine Lovecraftian tone or theme. (not just a name drop of some old god)

The album wasn't exactly what i was expecting but it nails the tone of what i had in my head as going through Zann's head when i was reading the story for the first time.

Little Girl Blue - Nina Simone (Postal Service Mix).
Very nice and soothing remix, recommended if you can get your hands on it and like those kinds of things.

It's from a full album of Nina Simone remixes I aquired by some nautical robbery on the intertubes not too long ago; I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere obvious, so it might be a bit rare.

Currently I have listened to a selectrion from disk one of Moody Blues Time traveller (mostly tracks from In Search of the Lost Chord), Mettalica's version of Imperial March (from Star Wars),a dn am now listening to Babaji by Supertramp. Next is Fool's Ovrture.
This is a rther strange mix, but it is jsut what I saw in my Winamp library (about 25000 songs from my iPod and shared folders on the network I am on), adn thought seemed like a good idea at eh time.
The voices in my head tell me that I should write something here. Unfortunately, they won't tell me what to write.

This is what I'm listening to on YouTube:

Sigur Rós - Ný Batterí About a minute of interview and part of a "Hopelandic" version of one of my favorite songs ever. You've got to at least watch the last two minutes.

The Good Life - Album of the Year If you like Cursive or other Saddle Creek bands (thefiddler, mrguy753, fjafjan, ?) you'll probably like the Good Life. Maybe even if you don't like them. Tim Kasher is hilarious and I love him. Also, he changed "cocktails" to "handjobs" in this performance.

The Faint - Agenda Suicide For those who like darkness in their dance and vice versa.

The Faint - Worked Up So Sexual They don't have a video for this song and most live recordings have bad sound quality, so this one was...um... fan made. If you watch this you'll probably be scarred for life, but it's a great song so just listen. (Well, unless you're 15 or want to feel like an ephebophile.)
