It's only cool if no one's heard of it.

Digging back into The Evens - Get Evens LP

All the atypically rhythmic grooving of Fugazi in a low-key form, with the same personal = political lyrics.

The first two tracks:

Cut From The Cloth

Everybody Knows

Great to hear a married couple who can still rock.

Black Mountain - Queens will play

Fucking hell. I wish I was stoned right now.
Summer is miles and miles away, and no one would ask me to stay.
And I, should contemplate this change... to ease the pain.
And I, should step out of the rain... turn away.

I have to buy a table for two first, though. Though, if I intend to settle down after that and have a child, then I suppose I should buy a bigger table than that.

But the ending of the video is kind of adorable:
Spoiler:
I think it's telling that when confronted with blatant homosexuality, the response is not knowing what to do/confusion instead of knee-jerk homophobia and/or violence. Sign of the times? Considering that this song is about as mainstream sugary pop that you get, I sure hope so.

First 2 seasons had Nicole Scherzinger (too lazy to look up spelling) instead of Sarah Bareilles. She was too emotional, so I'm pretty happy about the switch.
