The tail end of 'The Diamond Sea' by Sonic Youth. Its the extended version from The Destroyed Room, and it was awesome! So now I'm giving 'Mercury' by Throwing Muses a... throw (I guess).

Yes! It was my love for Hope Sandoval et al that inspired someone to recommend Trespassers to me in the first place.

Oh, and why the shock?!

Hee! sultry is a good word.

I'm confused - was that a self-makeout about half-way through?

Yeah, but I didn't realise that until near the end. All goths look the same to me.

What?!?! There's not a goth among them.

Song: Don't Wanna Be The One
Album: Place Without A Postcard (although I only have the Flat Chat compilation album)
Artist: Midnight Oil
Year: 1981
YouTube link: 1981 film clip
Ignore the fact that the clip is really out of sync and Garrett's dancing makes it look like he's having a seizure.

Song: QWERTY (Behind Your Lies)
Album: Linkin Park Underground 6 (?)
Artist: Linkin Park
Year: Unknown, but probably fairly recent
Youtube link: Live, really bad quality
These two are interesting played one after the other, as are US Forces (Oils) and A Place For My Head (LP).

Polar Bear Club-Most Miserable Life

Title is a lot melodramatic than one would expect from the song. Great little band out of Western New York.
