Home by the Gathering

I just bought this CD yesterday. It was only $5, and well I've never bought a CD before so I felt like I should try to make up for the other 1040 I stole from the internet.
There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe how wonderful I am.

Rainbow Veins by Owl City.
Kinda commercial and not my normal style, but a catchy feel-good song nonetheless.

Eels - Flyswatter (the album version)

What is the deal with Eels? I absolutely love the live videos of Eels (The David Letterman shows for example), but their albums are really crap. Completely bland and boring. Why don't their studio recordings have any of that energetic awesome sound they display on stage? =(
