It's only cool if no one's heard of it.

Do bootlegs count? Meat Loaf's "Live at the Bottom Line 1977" and "Live at Nassau Coliseum 1978" are pretty awesome. That's back when Meat's voice was still in top shape. Jim Steinman was on piano and would actually occasionally sing a song.

Coheed's live performances are kickass.

Does the singer from coheed and cambria clamp his balls in a vice to sound like that? or does he just not have any? srsly

Greatest live album...i dunno, but greatest live performance: Jimi Hendrix at woodstock

If we're counting bootlegs, then any Grateful Dead album from 1968 or thereabouts is right up there.

Whoever said Yanni gets a thumbs up from me also.
Is this a wok that you've shoved down my throat, or are you just pleased to see me?

Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus is the best fucking album ever. OF ALL TIME.

Go, get it now.

People have put "At Folsom Prison" for their best Johnny Cash live album, but I think "At San Quentin" is just that little bit better.

Also, I'm going to turn that opinion into a fact by saying that San Quentin registers a 7.4 on the sciencometer, whereas Folsom Prison registers only 4.9.

Symphony & Metallica - Metallica
5 Man Acoustical Jam - Tesla
Rock in Rio - Iron Maiden

Great stuff all.
