xkcd Internet Band--Now Organizing (newcomers still welcome)

It's only cool if no one's heard of it.

*Volunteers as loyal groupie*

Because I just can't sit around and do nothing when a BAND full of geniuses is in progress.

I'd also like to suggest something:

I don't think it's possible to include all people in forming one song so why doesn't the band decide upon a set list which includes say ten songs of different genres? People can pick what genre they want to play for and each "group" can work on getting their songs done. A bit like deep Purple's predecessor (a band called Roundabout) where artists would join in and out of the band.

There's an xkcd forums community on Facebook so if that would be on any help to any of you.

That's it. I know they're not even proper suggestions, ignore me. I'm not at my creative best today :P

Good luck! *Cheers* Yay xkcd Internet Band! (XIC until you guys come up with a better name) :P
Summer is miles and miles away, and no one would ask me to stay.
And I, should contemplate this change... to ease the pain.
And I, should step out of the rain... turn away.

I'll volunteer my services as acoustic guitarist. Possibly electric, if I can adjust to the narrower neck.
Kewangji: Posdy zwei tosdy osdy oady. Bork bork bork, hoppity syphilis bork.

Eebster the Great: What specifically is moving faster than light in these examples?
doogly: Hands waving furiously.

Please use he/him/his pronouns when referring to me.

I'll volunteer as late-intermediate-level pianist/keyboardist. I might be able to do some arranging too.
ouchjars: putting the "pie" in "sapience" since '08
