Songs that you can't stop listening to

As of lately, my song has been Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger. At least it's a good song. :3
To do list:

-kidnap Randall
-take his hands
-hire Eames from Inception

Perfect Water - Blue Oyster Cult. They played it as an encore when I saw them live a month ago, and I'd never heard it before. Cue me looking it up a couple days later. Thought it was a pretty decent song, and moved on. About a week ago it popped up on shuffle and I just cannot stop listening to it now.

-Any Three Days Grace Song
Wild Child-W.A.S.P
And some song I don't even know. (Hate when that happens  )

That's basically it. I barely even touch my Ipod unless if I want to listen to Three Days Grace now.

Just found this thread somewhere.

The Smiths - The Headmaster Ritual
The Clash - Straight to Hell
The Verve - This Time
The Verve - Come On
The Pixies - Where is My Mind?

Yes, my taste in music does include bands that aren't two words starting with "The," but these are on permanent repeat in my list.

I've had so many songs stuck in my head over the years, a vast majority of them wonderful. (We're talking probably like 99.97%)

I've also had Jimmy Buffett's "Son of a Son of a Sailor" stuck in my head for 8 hours while I detasselled (Iowa kid here...) which is a great song that I love, but listening to the same chorus for 8 hours while you do something monotonous (on a loud machine didn't help) gets a little strenuous. At first I was like "yeah! I love this song!" and by the end I was like "JIMMY BUFFETT GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

Huh, seeing as I love Eleanor Rigby and Abney Park, what your post tells me is that I should listen to Scissor Sisters. :)

My most recent song obsessions:
The Last Dance - Once Beautiful
The Last Dance - Flesh
Mortal Love - So I Betray the Mission
Crystal Method (w/ Peter Hook) - Blunts and Robots
Crystal Method (w/ Matisyahu) - Drown in the Now
Ego Likeness - South

Rick Ross - Hustlin' the last few days.
I'm anything but in love with it, but part of me of course admires a man that rhymes Atlantic with.. Atlantic. :)

Could anyone explain to me his love for the number 22 though?

Right now, "The Distance" by Cake and "Dog Days Are Over" by Florence and the Machine. Mostly because they're my ringtones.

But when I'm pissed, it's "Creep" by Radiohead all the way. Almost all of my bad moods are caused by something relating to self-deprecation, so the song almost always fits.
I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you.

Die Mesch Maschine by Kraftwerk. I have been able to listen to nothing else these past few days. This probably means I am some species of robot though.

There are tons of songs I can listen to on repeat for hours. However, after listening to songs a ton, maybe on repeat, I'll eventually get sick of them.

Only a few can I do this with every few days or weeks or months for years and never get sick of them.

I deem these "perfect songs."
(Some of these are newer, and thus I haven't gotten sick of them just yet, but I probably will.)

Cake, And Eat It Too - David Bazan
Ashes of American Flags - Wilco
Cloudy Shoes - Damien Jurado
A Loverless Bed - Sufjan Stevens
The Shadowlands - Ryan Adams
Revival - Soulsavers
Long Lost Brother - Over the Rhine
Woods - Bon Iver
The Poison - Pedro the Lion
Pittsfield - Sufjan Stevens
Angeles - Elliott Smith
Mt. Constitution - The Lonely Forest
Wisconsin - Bon Iver
Heysatan - Sigur Ros
Slow Car Crash - Headphones

EDIT:

Oh! And "My Body Is A Cage" by the Arcade Fire.
